and for a few days its been ok but couldnt breathe really and eyes would just keep matting shut. we gave it a bath and now its shaking really bad and cant walk it just falls over. so idk if its dying or just couldnt handle the bath....maybe some advice?? thanks

well i dont know what really hapened but i think my dogs paw is broken.When i got home yesrerday my siter said they had runedover him couse he had car oil on his head.My mom doesn t want to waste money becouse shes not shure.But my dog was like in a shock and he did not wag his tail at all and he has his paw cureled and wont let anyone touch it.and if you move him he starts crying.I took him out to do his thingis but he stood with out moving and when he moved he started crying so is his paw broken or is it just fractured and should i take him to the vet?

As some of you know, i've been asking tons of questions about puppies today, how to take care of them, and train them. In my last question I asked if I could leave it in its kennel while im away at school. Many of you disagreed, and I do too. Could I make a suggestion though? What if I bought one of those large playpens and placed one of those scented pads for the puppy to do its business on? and so instead of using the crate training technique, i could just use the pads instead... right?

...i really want this puppy.

My dog is sick n i need some help...???

i recently got an 8 week old pitbull puppy and she was the runt of the litter.since i've gotten her shes been diharea-ing non stop n after she eats sher bloats up bad n has gas. i took her to our town vet n he said she could have parvo but he really highly doubts it n he thinks its just a typical puppy worm. has anyone else had similar issues or know what could be wrong with my little girl. (the other puppies in her litter appear to be a healthy weight and just healthy overall n since parvo is highly contageius she they would have it as well) (i just got her 2 days ago and she hasnt been outside at all with me yet other than to go to vet today/)

yes the dog eats fine, i never asked about appetite. the people who gave her to me were not feeding her at all b/c they could not afford to so i didnt change her diet i simply fed her.

My wife is due in about six weeks and we are afraid of our Jack Russel hurting the baby. The dog is very hyper and jumps all over the place so we want to get rid of her.
Problem is the the 13 and 10 year old boys love the dog and no family members want the dog since she is not that smart.
So we decided to give her to a local adoption place.
She can not be outside without a chain or she will run off, so we decided to tell the boys she got loose and was killed by a car.
I know this sounds mean but if we say she ran away they will be looking for that dog till they are thirty years old. If they think it was run over they will get over it in a couple of days.
What do you think?

I have been advised by my vet to get an ultrasound for my chihuahua's upcoming whelp, and I'm wondering how much it usually costs...

Its important that i know how many puppies to expect as well as if she will have any difficulty. I want her to get through this unharmed.

Hi everyone i am new to this whole aquarium thing. A friend gave me a tank then we just got another. We have a 55 gallon tank with a filter (the ones that go on the side not under gravel) a heater, and lots of bubbles :) its all natural with natural rocks, big and little and real plants. i have 2 normal gold fish, 2 of buggey eyed one (not the ones with the sacs) and just got 5 danios. I want to possibley get a crab, a frog, and some algee eating shrimp. plus later get some more colorful fish. I need to know what benifits and what negitive things all these little critters have on the aquarium. (i might give a friend one of the goldfish as it is a bulley and she is only going to have goldfish). I have tried finiding what different fish are good with eachother but i cant find any that decribe what all i want to know. So if you have a website it would be great. What other colorful fish do you guys suggest? I want to get some fancy guppys but not sure. thanks for the help.

I have 2 goldfish, one regular one, and a shunbunken, i had 3 but one died a week ago. The regular goldfish has been around for a year and has grown to be very large. I had them in a 10 gallon tank, but because the size my goldfish was growing i had to get a larger tank and changed to a 20 gallon. i never had any problems with the 10 gallon. Now a week a go one fish died, and i test my water everyday and i have very high levels of ammonia. And my water is turning very green. I've done partial water changes a couple times a week, and have been putting an ammonia neutralizer in the water , but nothing works. What am i doing wrong, and can i save my fish, i dont want to lose the one fish that has been around for so long, its kind of a pet to my daughter, she'd be devastated. Please help.Should i be changing the water more, I also have been testing the nitrate and nitrite levels and they seem to be fine,but when this whole thing started it was the nitrate that was high,now ammonia

3 1/2 yr old Tiger Oscar, 8" from tip to tip, living alone in 40 gal tank. Water slightly acidic and hard. Partial water changes done about 6gal every two weeks. Undergravel filter w/ powerhead and Aquaclear 300 outside filter. Fed Hikari brand Oscar tablets, occasional frozen bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp. He gets live feeder goldfish every now and then, but only after they've been quarantined for at least a week.

Recently Oscar has developed symmetric pock marks about the size of a BB and grayish-white in color about 1/16 " apart around his whole jaw (from one side of face to other.) Doesn't seem to be in any discomfort, and he eats well, but the marks resemble the "hole in the head disease" from the '80's. But I believe that was parasitic and was generally one lesion only.

Does anyone think I should be concerned?

BTW...I've had freshwater tropicals all my life; have successfully bred angels and have kept many happy, healthy discus; so I'm not a noob.

While browsing at my local truevalue, i noticed a peculiar fish in one of the fishtanks. It was small (1-1/2 inches) and red/yellow. It was swimming along the bottom, like a snake. It then would swim under the gravel and pop up in another spot. It was very cool to see, and I was just wondering what it was. I am not sure if it was a rope-fish, because it was soo small. It might have been a newt baby? thanks

I'm still trying to figure out the best filtration system for my 29 gallon hex saltwater. Would it be better to use crushed coral and the underground filter? Or remove the underground filter and use sand and other filters??

I really want a puppy. I would prefer a small dog under 12 lbs. when full grown. I also want a puppy that is inexpensive itself. One last thing is I want a puppy that is relaxed but can be hyper very good at listening and very very x 1million cute!!

I currently have a 29 freshwater Hex aquarium, but I'm thinking of changing it to salt water. I am just going to put a couple saltwater fish, instead of the overcrowded mess I have now. My question is do I need to keep the underground filter, its rather unsightly and I really don't like it. But I wonder if its better for getting oxygen in the water because it's so tall. Any advice on building this saltwater Hex aquarium would be most appreciated. I'm thinking of building live rock at an angle to the top, and having a couple small fish.

I have 2 questions. Please help

1) When is the right time and age for a kitten to be given away to a famliy or pet shop? I have 8 kittens, and im sad to say this, but i have to give them away :(. There are about 1 month old now, they can walk, and eat by themselves. But im not sure how old exact they have to be in order to give them away. Please help.

2) I havent found a decent home for the kittens, so i was wondering if anyone knows a good home where i can leave them in. I dont want to give them to a stranger in the streets. Id rather give them to a person who i kno will love and take care of them. So if anyone has any info on this, please reply..
