Quick background; when i bought her she was under weight very shy had mites and still had skin covering her eyes. so i took her to a vet and had her treated for the mites and checked for anyrthing else. I did my best in caring for her so now she is perfectly fine.

when i bought her she was a very shy eater and would strike at any food items i put in her cage. This happend for about a month. so i decided to give her small food items like a single mouse. she took it so the next week i gave her three and she tore em up.

After that meal she has been basking a lot. more than the usaul snake would after a meal. She will stay under the light almost all day. even at night she curls up directly under the night light. i find this to be a little odd. Do your ball pythons have a tendency to bask all day?

I have a neighbor who insists on luring my cat or cats into her house, I have ask her not to do this but she will do it any way.
This evening when I got home the cats were at the door ready to say hi and then they like to go out and sit on the porch and run around the yard they don’t go any where really they just like to go out for awhile, this evening I left the door ajar so they could come in when they heard me open the can of cat food, when I opened the can no cats.... I went to the door and there she was trying to get the cats into her house. When she saw me she rushed back into her house, so I didn’t get a chance to say anything to her.
This person has cats of her own they go out so it isn’t that she thinks I shouldn’t let mine out. I have wondered it she thinks my cats are to slim, she has really fat cats and seems to think they look good.
I have talked to her 50 times about this; I have been nice and rude. I have told her if they get used to going into her house they might go into someone else’s and ill never see them again. What am I going to do?

I would like to have some dwarf seahorses I have read that 2-5 gallon aquarium works best. What do I need other than Sponge filter, weak power head, heater, what type of plants should I get them, what am I to do with the babies????? I have a 3 gallon "critter keeper" or a 10 gallon aquarium but the 10 would cause me to concentrate thie food much more. How should I make brine srimp hacthery how much is this going to cost? I just put fish into a new SW aquarium my first one but I have about a year of research behind and I do feel comfortable to do this! Please tell me what ever you know!!n Also if someone knows a lot about stocking SW aquariums (overstocking) please E-Mail me @ Kyle_Schumann@yahoo.com

I just found this cat outside my door that looks like it hadn't been fed for a long time. The thing is, she is spayed, she likes to be held, and when she hears the word 'munchies' she gets excited, like someone said that to her a lot. Unfortunatly, I haven't found anyone who claims to be her owner. I've walked door to door all over my extremely small town, but still have found nothing. Does anybody have any tips that can possibly help me find her owner(s)?

I set up my little 10 gallon, am still just waiting for it to finish cycling, so I usually go looking at the fish every weekend to see what I like, what looks healthy and all that. Well this weekend Petco had male Bettas in all their tanks. (No, not the salt water. The other weekends they did not.) I saw many Bettas being picked on, and in other tanks I saw other fish getting picked on by the Bettas, especially the poor dwarf guaramies. Has anyone else ever seen this? I wonder what would make them do that?

So I am starting my first (real) job at a a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant. I have always and still do want to become a vet and since I was 5 I've been asking our vet if I could work there. Well, I'm finally old enough and was recently hire as a state-of-the-art animal hospital. It seems really promising and I've worked with animals for years but mostly on farms. Are there any little tib bits I should know about that may help me out my first day (week, month)on the job? Or anything that isn't so obvious but I should be aware about when working there? I really can't screw up working here and I want to do the best I can because I know this will be one of the best things I could put on my college application come next fall when I apply to vet school in the UK. So any extra little tips or thing you guys could let me in on I would more than appreciated it! Thanks all!

I recently adopted this bearded dragon and she has a large lump on her back. From her size, I predict she's around 8-10 yrs old. While I don't want to see her suffer, she is old and I'm not really sure how much time she has left.

I have worked very hard on making sure my rottweiler is not aggressive with anything especially food. We have done the exercises where I place my hand in his food bowl so he knows that we are allowed to approach him when he is eating. He has always been very accepting allowing me or anyone else to take anything he has. Now he is a year old and I notice when my hand goes near his food he crouches his head over the bowl and speeds up so that the food will be gone in seconds. He is not growling or anything when he does this, is it normal behavior or will it progress to more aggressive food guarding?

My dog has allergies to some meats. Not just chicken and beef, but bison, duck, venison and turkey as well. He does not like lamb, but will eat it when he is too hungry. Also, he does not do well with some starches such as potato and rice. He is a GSD and dobie mix. The vets he has seen tell us he should be about 70 lbs. according to his skeletal structure, but we are excited to see him at his current weight of 57 lbs. With lamb, his weight drops because he only eats 1 or 2 cups a day of it.
Right now he is on Pro Plan Sensitve formula, with Salmon. He will eat 5 to 8 cups a day on it, but still no gain. He doesn't take well to supplements, either. Right now he still has skin issues from allergies on that.
I tried cooking for him, and he loves it, but it ends up complicated, and I am horrable at cooking. I burn ramen.
He also has seperation anxiety and other disorders, which I think contribute to his weight, so I need the best thing for him.
Any ideas?
