I currently have a Yorkshire Terrier, a Shih-Tzu and a Pug, but I want to add a fourth dog into my family. What breed should this dog be?

What type of dog is this? Everyone seems to think Pit Bull, but I really don't think so.

I just went and bought some new fish yesterday and i was looking at the Ph and ammonia readers. How important are they? Should i have one for my tank? If so, what kind do you recommend?

i heard that a false pregnancy means the dog would be a good mother or that she is ready to? what are your views on this?

No offense to you owners, but you can spend $3000 for a schnoodle, which IS a mutt, or you can go down to the local shelter, buy the exact same breed, AND it would be helping a poor dog. same breed, helpless, in need of a home, and cheaper.

We just got this adorable tortie (multicolored/calico) kitten who is 4 months old. We haven't been able to come up with a good name for her, though! My husband and I would love to name her something to do with musical theatre, movies, religious names, or Disney, some things we love. She's really sweet , petite, and playful...any suggestions? I want something cute-sounding! Here's ones I've already used up on other past pets: Belle, Jasmine, April, Gizmo, Taz, Princess, Nala, Patches, Angel, Cadence, Tango, Sachi, Suzy Q, Tumnus. Help us name our little cutie!

Here's a pic:

I have a 30L BiOrb tank and have had a Blackmoor living on his/her (don't know its sex) for about two weeks. Tried to by some more blackmoors this weekend but couldn't find any nice ones so brought two Pearlscale Oranda's instead. Shop assistant said they'd be fine with a Blackmoor.

However, the Blackmoor keeps pushing his head into the 'bottoms' of the pearlscales. It's like he's chasing them??

Very confusing - any ideas?

Could they be fighting?

thanks, paul

I have a silver dollar, 2 small angels, 2 small pink convicts and 6 tetra. The danio has disappeared today- was around yesterday. It was quite large for a danio and they have all been sharing a tank for about 3 months with no signs of trouble.

I just lost a life long friend. My cat, Skippy had to be put down today due to liver cancer. I'm a wreck. I've got a brand new kitten, but its helping effects are not enough. How would you comfort your self? I'm sitting on my bed in tears. It happened two hours ago. I've had Skippy since I was two. Words cannont express the loss in my heart and the empty feeling that I am feeling when I get home and not see her laying there on my bed. I'm at a loss of words. I'm sorry I'm rambling on... but I needed to get that off my chest. How would you deal with the loss of a life long friend?

I have a 10 gal. freshwater tank and everything is right on including my pH but I can't seem to get my alkalinity down. The fish don't seem to have any adverse effects but I'm leery to add more fish. I have 2 guppies and 2 mollies in the right now. The only thing abnormal is I'm starting to get alge. My tanks been running for almost 5 months and alkalinity has been very high almost since I started it.

I have a fish who always insists on staying inside a little rock formation at the bottem of the tank, and it never/rarely comes out.
When I go to feed the fish, it will come out sometimes, but not usually.
Not too long ago, I found one of my fish dead in the same rock formation.
It doesn't seem to be caught in there, so why does it always stay in there, even when there's food outside?

We have a quarter horse and a morgan, both are over 20,we got them this spring after we purchased a small farm. The morgan started getting out ,at first it was kinda funny since I was in the proccess of rebuilding the fences and took it as his way of telling me where I needed to work first, but,in the past month or so we can't keep him in any longer. He knows that if he steps onto the wire it'll give at some point,if he leans on a wooden post it will snap,a metal post will bend.Electric fence tickles him, shock collar doesn't faze him either,I hated to try it but I finaly did.I confused him by temporarly using ply-wood in the corral fence where I put him when the farreir comes, but we can't afford to line a 20 acre pasture fence with ply-wood . He's a great horse other than this problem.Right now I have a cable at just above head level that I can move around and anchore,I hook the lead to that and he moves around eating and so on.But the local animal lovers froup is throwing a fit about it.

I was wondering about the differences in colors. I have been told that the yellow labs tend to be larger than their counterparts. Is this true or have you noticed any other differences?
I know each dog is an individual and will have its own personality, but in general do they tend to be submissive?
I've heard they have a long puppyhood. Does this mean they have puppy energy for longer and for how long?

What offspring could i expect if bred a male classic motley corn with a female normal corn? As far as i'm aware, both snakes' ancestry is pure. Can i expect all normals (i have a feeling that normal pattern is dominant while motley is recessive) or will i get all motleys, or some of each?
