I have sevaral dogs and one elderly female recently started peeing in the house. And of course the younger males feel the need to cover the spots with their pee. Its been a regular pee fest. Please help. I bleached the garage floor thougholy and it did nothing.

Bleach won't work. You can buy some more expensive remedies in the stores or, go to the grocery store and buy a $3 gallon jug of the white vinegar. The urine is an alkaline and the vinegar an acid. The acid nullifies the alkaline. Many people make the big mistake of using ammonia, well, that is what the urine is too, AMMONIA! Don't dilute the vinegar but put full strength on the areas you are cleaning. I would let it sit on the concrete for awhile. You can't do that on hardwood floors so just use a clean rag, wet it with the vinegar and scrub the areas where the dog has gone. You can purchase a small blacklight usually at Petco/Petsmart and in the dark, turn it on and it will glow where the urine is. This will help you find all the spots. You will probably be startled to find all the areas the dog/dogs have gone in!

You will have a vinegar odor but only until it is completely dried. Once dry the odor goes away.

I just found a site with thousands of downloadable woodworking plans, it s really great. You can check it out here ( woodworkingplans.kyma.info ) Here is an honest review : If you want to start a woodworking project, you need all the necessary information, including schematics, blueprints, materials lists, dimensions etc. That is where TedsWoodworking comes in. The plans are clearly drawn and there're step-by-step explainations of how the plan should be done and put together. There are several other sites whose collection of plans have the dimensions totally wrong without any indication of parts lists, material lists or the tools needed. If you're one of those people who have bought plans like this in the past, TedsWoodworking will change your perception. In Ted's Woodworking you will get everything you need: Diagrams which are detailed with a full set of dimensions, step-by-step instructions how to start your project and the necessary materials for that particular project. All the woodworking tools you will need: If you are a beginner or have done some woodworking you will find these plans easy-to-follow as the instructions are very clearly written. The woodworking plans are straightforward so they are not complicated at all. Even if you are a total newcomer to woodworking you will simply be able to master all the techniques that are needed and the woodworking skills very quickly by following the concise and clear instructions. Another thing which is so great about these woodworking plans is that there have been some videos included and there are some to guide you in how to build benches home furniture dog houses bird feeders sheds and much much more. There is also a lifetime member acess included in the package and you get these extras for no cost to you as they are free with no additional charges at all! This alone is worth the entire price for TedsWoodworking. Ted Mcgrath is a very dedicated and experienced woodworker who knows what he is talking about when it comes to woodworking and DIY projects s he has been a woodworker for many many years. There is only one drawback that we could find and that being with 16,000 woodworking plans you are bound to get some which look a little disorganized but that is understandable as it is very difficult to place all these plans into their proper categories. Secondly, it might take you a little longer to do the downloads on because of the size of them. But the members area include an option to upgrade to the DVD so you can save time on downloading. I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars. Here's the bottom line: If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you SHOULD use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Check the site: ( woodworkingplans.kyma.info )

I would still try using nature's miracle because you do not want the dogs repeating this again and again. You need to clean off the surfaces first because harsh chemicals can harm the enzymes and you need to use a fresh bottle.

I would also open doors and windows and let some of the scent dissipate naturally.

Knowing dogs, they may have also done vertical surfaces or other parts of the room that you can't see. A black light can help if you use it in the dark, at night and hold it close to the surfaces. I have heard that misting suspect areas with water can help with the black light as well.

This will show up any number of bodily fluids in addition to urine.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://tr.im/BNwiW

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

As for concrete, I use bleach and sometimes Odo-Ban(can get at Sam's Club) in my kennel. The trick on concrete is to give it a good "scrubbing", pouring it on and rinsing won't do it. I use a shop broom as a "mop" and then rinse.
Wood floors will trap the odor of the urine, so I would suggest using vinegar, as it will mask the smell to the dog...

Have you taken the elderly female to the vet to see what could be wrong with her? It could be something simple like a UTI....

I work at a kennel and the kennels do have cement flooring, we use a product called Novasan....I believe you will see this product at http://www.drsfosterandsmith.com
I wouldn't use bleach since the dogs are on cement floor, even though I am sure you wait until the floor is dry, bleach stays on the surface and will harm the dogs pads and scent of smell depending how strong you put it on your cement.
I wish you luck....the next best thing would be maybe if it is possible to keep your male dogs out of the area the older female is at then you wouldn't have such a smell....
Again good luck
