Take him to the vet immediately. A break and fracture are similar, it depends on how the bone is damaged and if allowed to mend without medical attention may lead to infection, amputation or permanent disfiguration if it is not set properly. In the meantime, your pet will suffer tremendously. Your dog may also be suffering from internal injuries that only a professional can diagnose.

Broken, fractured, same thing.
Yes you need to take him to the vet. Denying an animal medical is animal cruelty and your mother could be charged with abuse and neglect if treatment is not sought out for the dog.
Bring the dog to vet.
If medical care for your pet is a "waste of money" then you shouldn't own a pet.

TAKE HIM TO THE VET NOW!
Listen, whether it's broken or not, you dog is in pain and needs medical attention!
If your mom doesn't want to spend the money, then surrender the animal. Yeah, you'll lose the dog, but then he'll still get medical attention and then he'll be safe, and maybe someone more responsible will adopt him after he recovers.
Think of it like this: how would you like sitting around in really bad pain waiting for someone to decide if they want to take you to the hospital or not?

I hope your joking...obviously take him to the vet. It is against the law to not take him to the vet if you think he has a fracture. Would you like to go to jail for animal cruelty? I doubt it so do the responsible thing for a pet owner to do and get him medical attention.

No one here can tell you, because they have not seen x-rays of your dog's paw....a vet COULD however tell you, and I suggest you find a vet immediately to get your dog treated. You are making him suffer with what could be an easily treated injury.

your mother should know better!
She should have taken him to the vet yesterday when he got hurt.Having a dog or any pet takes responability and money.Just like having kids.Hell if you were hit by a car, would she wait a few days to see if you were ok, just to save money?
