firstly the answer to your question is they are both the same dog secondly the best guard dogs in the world are German shepherds which is why most police forces and military units use them, but having any type of "guard dog" is not for the inexperienced. If you have never had a dog before i suggest you do alot of research and plan to get your dog as young as possible you ll need to go to puppy class and then obedience class when the dogs older, its going to take alot of time and hard work to get a good trained dog, don't think you can just pop out and get a doberman and away you go its alot harder than that. These types of dogs which have no basic training can be a problem to you and other people. I'd think long and hard about it before making any decision

Firstly , A guard dog is a lot of responsibility as they are not easy dogs to have around . A guard dog doesn't automatically mean that you are a hundred percent protected .Most people want a watch dog which is good enough and will be safer .
Secondly, most Dobermanns bred nowadays are not bred like in the past . Most are nervous and bite in fear raher than confidence . If you want to find info on good Dobermann s, you can visit the website .

The only difference between a Doberman and a Dobermann is the spelling. They are both the same dog.

Heh... should you be buying any dog if you don't know that it's just a Doberman? If you want a Dobie, go buy a Dobie. What's your question?

There is only one,and it's spelled Doberman. You don't need to teach them to be mean, either,as they are naturally protective, but very sweet as well. They are also indoor dogs,as their coat is too thin for them to live outside.
