If your vet says she could have parvo or worms you need to find a new vet. They can do tests to see which of these are the issue and then treat them accordingly...get a second opinion before your puppy dies.

This doesn't sound like Parvo, if it was then in her already weakened condition she would most likely have died. It is very contagious and the other puppies would have been sick too.
It sounds as though she could have a bad case of worms. Do you see any worms in her stool? In really bad infestations sometimes a puppy will even vomit worms. Did your veterinarian deworm her? She also needs to be up to date on her shots.
There are other parasites and conditions that can cause diarrhea etc., your veterinarian should do a stool sample to check for these, if he's not already done so. Depending on the cause the treatment varies.
Feeding her is a change in diet if she's not been eating, poor little mite. It could take a few days for her tummy to adjust, and the stress of the move from her mom and littermates takes a toll too.
You can find info. on dog illnesses, worms, puppy kibble, vaccinations and lots more at the website below. Hopefully it will help you to take care of your new 'baby'. Best of luck, hope she's doing better soon.

Those are not symptoms of parvo but typical wormy pup. The diarrhea and bloated tummy are sure signs. If the old owners couldn't afford to feed the pups I'm sure they never wormed them or gave shots.
The pup needs first set of shots and a good wormer (Strongid T) takes care of the problem in just 2 doses. You can try over the counter wormers but they do end up costing more in the long run.
Make an appointment and your problems will be over. Also try to feed the pup a real blan diet till the stool gets back to normal, try some yogurt and plain canned pumpkin too.

May be worms, hate to diagnosis this way, but if she had Parvo,.. it wipes out all the other littermates as well, and there's a high fever, hence she would NOT have appetite.
The simplest and hopefully it is, is roundworms,... is she de-wormed? De-worm the other pups as well, if not.
Worms react differently to different pups, especially when she was the runt,... she'd tend to have a lower resistance and immune system and would have a harder reaction to the infestation of worms.
*(a reminder, if people can't afford to take their pets to vet, then "fixing" them is a more affordable solution). Poor puppies have no choice in matter,... but suffer for it.

Why didn't the vet run a fecal for worms and check for parvo?
Most puppies do have worms. So she will need to be wormed.
It sounds like she is experiencing digestive upset from the move, and apparently new food, and it is new if she was wasn't being fed before.
To be on the safe side have your vet test for parvo, have a fecal done, get her wormed, and get her vaccines started.

It sounds like it could be many things. If your vet gave you medication for worms, give it a day or two to see if that helps. If it doesn't, try a change in diet that is formulated for puppies with a rice and chicken or rice and lamb base.
Vets are not psychics and have patients that can't tell them where it hurts. They offer a vital service to pet owners and I would never bash them because they are not miracle workers with all the answers!

with pravo, you will have a very distinct smell. It almost gets you sick at your stomach. It is a strong foul smell.
It pup will become lethargic, matty eyes. runny nose. similar to distemper but much worse.
Worms do cause bloating. The pup will eat more than usual trying to get full. Evict 5 in 1 is a good wormer in pups, It kills 5 of the most common worms in pups and dogs.
Get a new Vet.
I have my experience from working with Vets at the pet store, and vet hospitals.

the same thing happened with my puppy. She had gotten really sick and got weak and couldnt hold down any food. the vets said that it was likely to be parvo. It ended up being a parasite and a week later it she was fine. I gave her Pedialite, and she started eating more and more. They will do a blood test on her so just give it some time. your puppy just needs some love for now

you need to go to your local pet shop or livestock store and get you pooch her parvo shots immediatly! make sure she drinks plenty of water thats what parvo does it drys out your dogs system and totaly dehydrates them.parvo hits pitts more often because of imbreeding and you need to take action soon cause it may of already been to long to take action. i almost lost my pitt to parvo and had to stay awake with him 2 days forcing him to drink water but ive had him now for 4 years and he's perfectly healty. get her the parvo shots
