I was planning on getting her spayed in Oct, but now I have to wait until she is not in heat. I'm very concerned as to why she is in heat again, just after almost only 2 months. I thought it was at least every six months that they went into heat. What's going on?! Is she OK?! Thanks so much in advance.

agarwaen_neithan you are just creepy a cat that has had 55 kittens and you still have not figured out that a spay would be 10x better for her. poor little girl.

In february she had 7 puppies? like as in 7 months ago?? so that would have made her less than a year old? you are very lucky that your girl is still alive. She needs to see a vet. I wonder if maybe there is a bigger issue going on for her.

Dogs of this age are not regulated in a cycle yet. Just like female humans when they are young heat cycles can be sparatic and do not nessacarly happen every 6 months it can jump around. Just to on the safe side I would call the vet in the morning and make an appt. for a wellness exam.

the above poster is wrong..

cats go in and out of heat, yes.. but not dogs!

A dog's cycle is typically about 6 months. She should see a vet, she may have an infection.

nekkiddoglady is right. If she was in heat two months ago, then right about now she could be developing a pyometra or other infection,or she could have a hormone imbalance. You should take her to the vet to be checked out.

She's just horny. It happens. My cat is 14 years old and still goes into heat like every other month... weird and not cool, but a necessary fact. It also means she hasn't been spayed and so she's had over 55 kittens...
