My Betta fish goes up to the surface every 10 to 30 seconds to breathe. Is this normal?

I go to this lake- Lake Manitoba, this Saturday and LOOK
I find clams there! Real live clams, then a question is stuck in my head....

This is a serious question, so please serious answers. I took my cat to the vet and he said she is in awesome condition, and her coat is super shiny, so she is in no way abused, but, she really stinks, way way more than any pet I have had in the past. We give her wet food sometimes and my uncle said that was what caused it, but why wouldn't the vet tell us that?? Anyone know, please let me know asap, I'd like to nix the stink.

what meat and vegs can i give her that is healthy??? Can i give her cooked hamburgers? She loves them. What about carrots? Please if you feed your dog table food what do you feed them?

My dog is a 1 yr old 5lb yorkie.

i got an iguana 2 weeks ago. he was very active ate and drank well. i am guessing his is about 2 months old but that is a geuss, he is very young though.
lately he has been having stange episodes. during moments when he is basking in his light or in the sun his eyes (when they are closed) will bulge really far out of his head and he will start gaging. this will go on for about 4 seconds. he doesnt puke. he does this about 2-3 times day.
he also isnt very active and wants to sleep most of the time and if i let him sit on the floor he wont run around he will just sleep.
i also havent seen him or found any evidence that he has been "been using the bathroom" (sorry if that sounds childish).
he doesnt drink unless i help him or make him. he eats fine though and has a good apitite.

he will be going to the vet but do you have anything to say about this? is this normal? im just really scared for him. thanks and please help.

I saw this one gecko at a pet store and i forget what type it is.

I am switching my tanks around so that my 55 gallon will be a divided breeding/ maternity tank, and would like to keep a couple catfish in there to help with the cleaning. If not are there any catfish that I would be able to keep with the babies? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I have grown up with cats. And dont get me wrong, I love my kitties, but I just feel like I need a dog. I am actually a bit depressed that I cant own a dog. Every time I see a dog, I get excited to see them, but then I get sad because I want one. Every time I hear a bark I try to see where it is coming from. What can I do to keep my mind off of dogs? I asked the question earlier...but I wasnt satisfied with the answers. Remember, I CANT own a dog. Thank you.

I would also say thanks again to whoever helped me on my last question , so thanks.

I have a Eclipse system 6. I know its small, but i would like to get some medium sized fish for it. I wanted cichlids, but its too small from what ive heard and researched. Are there any medium sized fish, dont necessarily have to be community, just differnt nice looking fish that would do well in such an aquarium? if there is anything besides (plaites, mollies, bettas, neon tetras, and guppies) it would be great if i could have some recomendations and suggestions. Thanks a lot,

I gave my 4 mth old kitten a flea bath with Bio Spot Flea Shampoo yesterday..anyway she ended up freaking out and I don't think I got all the "nooks and crannies". I did pull like 10 fleas of her, but some were still alive. I really want to try Frontline or Advantage. How long should I wait?

Is there any one on this site who has a TOM-cat as a pet? while I was out side my cousin gave my bearded dragon GerberTropocal fruit medley. Its basicly fruit but it is baby food. my dragon only eat about two table spoons. When I found out my cousin did this I made my dragon drink some water. Will the baby food hurt him? what should I do? so far he is fine and looks ok.

My dog loves beer. I usually have to put him away when friends come over to drink unless he's just warn out.

It all started when he was jumping all over my guests and a girl leaned over to pet him and and spilled some beer. My dog sniffed it and started lapping it up. He always wants beer now I'm taking him to the park today.

I feed my guinea pig plenty of veggies a day, but I do leave piggy food and hay in his cage for if he wants something other then veggies or if he runs out of veggies, or something like that. We bought him FIESTA, but I read online that nuts and seeds are bad for them. I just realized now that FIESTA has pumpkin seeds(i think that's what they are) and some sort of nuts(it might be like pistachios or something like that). Is it safe for him?

My mother in law took her beloved border collie to the vets today coz he was struggling to breath he hasnt been himself for a couple of months now but we just thought it might be where hes getting on hes nearly 10 the dog is a bit over weight, they have taken him in for and emergency operation to find out the cause this evening can any one tell me what they might be looking for ????

I also have two males and another female, that are all being fixed, at the end of this week. My female is in heat. She IS separated at all times, from the males, and they have not, nor will they get to her. The problem I'm having now, is that both males, are not eating a whole lot, and are losing quite a bit of weight, because they are separated, from my female, and they want to get to her, which is not going to happen! I am giving both of my males Nutrical, but it's not doing much good at increasing their appetite. They were eating fine, before my female went into heat, but since then, they just don't seem too interested in food. I just wanted to know if anyone, has had a similar situation happen to them, with their dogs. What did you do, to get them to eat something, or is this normal for the males not to want food, when female is in heat? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Boy, I can't wait till the end of this week comes!

my yorkie right now is 1 year and 1 month old. She hasnt been eating much breakfast lately. (i feed her breakfast at 9 and dinner at 6) and she eats purina dry food. But she seems like she isnt hunngry until 12:00 and really isnt hungry for dinner until late at night. Should i cut her down to one meal a day?
