Boil a chicken breast with carrots & a little rice - you may wish to sprinkle in a litle gartic powder - NO garlic cloves or garlic salt. Mix this with her regular food. You can make a large batch of the "chicken soup" as it freezes well. CAUTION with table scraps; My friends' dog is in the hospital now for feeding so many rich table scraps You can also buy ground turkey, but, again, mix this with dog kibble - she needs dog food.

People food is not good for dogs usually - I have a schnauzer and the vet said that particular breed is more susceptible to digestive issues due to eating the wrong types of food. However, I do treat my dog every now and then.
On the other hand, I don't see the harm in giving dogs fresh fruits and veggies if they enjoy them. My dog loves carrots, bell peppers, cauliflower and broccoli. He also enjoys oranges and pineapple, sometimes banana. I will also stew him chicken breast (unseasoned) and serve it with a little bit of rice (also unseasoned, no butter). The vet actually told me serving my dog the chicken and rice was okay and that if he ever had an upset tummy, that it would help him recover. Hope this gives you some ideas.

Try feeding her Canidae. It's high quality food that dogs really love the taste of. It's not a good idea to start a human food diet for dogs because you have to really know what you're doing. You must consult your vet before starting such a diet. Your dog is probably just spoiled- if she ever gets table food then she has no incentive to eat the boring food. Don't give her table food and she'll eat her own food eventually. There's no such thing as a dog starving herself to death because she doesn't like her food.

Dont give your dog cooked hamburgers. It will get fat and that is not healthy. Go to your local vet for a list of things your dog might like or do some research on the computer Google or ask Jeeves.

My dog also hates dog food. But still he needs some of it to give him a balanced diet. Try cutting up chicken in some water this way it will create a gravy, then pour it on top of her dog food, mix it well and se if she will eat it. Make sure to put lots of the meat on top. Also you can try liver, but its not good for dogs to have liver too much. Carrots are good, my dog doesnt' like carrots but if she does mix some in with her bowl. dogs are suposed to be carnivors more then omnivours. They need meat and protien. Fish is good for dogs too. About the hamburger, cut the hamburger in 2. cut one half in about 1/3 of a cup of water,(it helps if u heat it up in the microwave first) that way u have gravy, then pour it on her food, then cut up the rest of the hamburger into peices, small, medium and large sizes. But if its a big hamburger dont use so much because yorkies are small.
btw, ur dog still may not like candidae (someone else wrote that ) my dog doesnt like ANY dog food, we tried them all, but we feed him canidae (with ppl food) becuase it is really good for them. Also, if your dog does it the whole bowl with the dog food, praise her ALOT and say GOOD EAT! and give her a bite of her favorate food (for my dog its cheese) Also you can buy rice milk and put that on the food with some chicken breast and rice . rice is good for her stomach and the rice milk makes a delicouse grav y for them. Leme know if it works.

baby carrots and green beans are great for dogs. Also apples pieces with no skin. make sure to stay away from the core and seeds which are toxic.
Onions, avocados and grapes are all toxic to dogs. You'll also want to try and avoid gassy vegetables such as broccoli.

If you feed her people food she will get too fat and not get the right nutrition. Find a good dog food she will eat and don't give her people food.

i would suggest never feeding him table food. if he doesn't like the dog food to bad, he will eventually eat it. the reason he isn't eating dog food is probably because he knows that he will get table food.. by taking away all that he will realise he needs to eat his own food, not yours.
