Yes, that is great! There are very few crabs that are 100% freshwater, and none of them will be found in a pet store. Many crabs sold as freshwater are really brackish water crabs, and will suffer in freshwater. Also, crabs need a way to reach the surface for air, but they are escape artists, so they can easily escape from the surface... I would look into freshwater shrimp like Ghost Shrimp and Cherry Shrimp if you want something unusual. Email me if you have any questions.
