my cousin read that in a magazine and she wants me to find some info about this and in what circumstances, it's really weird but plzzzzzzz somebody answer she will kill me if nobody does!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, they munch certains grasses and weeds for settling the stomach and leaves for the protein. In a few cases, females in the last stages of pregnancy have been known to eat plants but that's like a human craving odd things like clay and it's actively discouraged.

If a dog is sick or has an upset stomach or something like that it will tend to eat grass or things like that. My golden started to eat the flowers off of dandilions in the yard when she was pregnant.

dogs eat plants all the time
like a dog who has an upset stomach will eat grass to coat the inside of the stomach and soothe it; or if the stomachache is bad enough the dog will eat alot of grass to induce vomiting and get the toxic ins out of their system
however be ware: many house plants are toxic to dogs

If a dog feels kind of sick it will eat some thing like grass or a big plant,I have three dogs.

My dog usually eats grass and weeds just for the heck of it. And we have cedar bark around our back porch so he usually comes inside the house chewing on it. But the grass does make him sick at times.

Yes, and normally only grasses. However, some houseplants are lethal to cats and dogs, and some garden plants as well. It would be best to research it completely.

My dog does the same thing its fine.We allow her and she is perfectly fine they say in the olden days dogs used to do that.Sometimes its the tummy that makes them feel like that.Have her cheacked if he does not stop my dogs eats it because she gets boardThey used to eat plants but u should not worry she or he will be fine!!

Yup. Dogs will eat grass, but that's mainly only if they have an upset stomach.

i have a cornfeild on my property and my pitbull-lab mix is in the front yard eating an ear of corn right now. he seems to enjoy it and eats several a day.
