A toy poodle.

I went to Dog Match and entered some of your information and got a great list of adorable little dogs. The toy poodle matched 100% I had to guess on some of the questions, so you may want to take the test for yourself and see if the results are any different. One great thing about poodles and poodle mixes is that they HARDLY SHED A HAIR!!!

This only applies to females as I don't know anything about the males.
1. Bigger than 10 pounds
2. Aggressive when appropriate
3. Playful, loving, sweet and fun. Picks up the owners personality, likes and dislikes. Willing to please to the utmost. Mine would nurse anything you gave it. Would go down the slide with the kids. Was terribly obedient unless she wanted to continue camping when it was time to go home then she would sit under a tree and stare at you as if you were out of your mind for leaving.
4. Shed's some but is an easy keeper.
5. House train simple. In fact she made a mistake once and covered it with a newspaper then acted very humble. She had an upset tummy. One time we left her home when we went on a day trip. Our car broke down and we were gone for 48 hours. I expected terrible things when I got home. There was not a single thing wrong...not even a potty anywhere...but, as soon as we opened the door she zoomed outside for relief.
They are totally beautiful and elegant and I adored my Doberman...
My second choice would be a poodle mix....Mmm

There aren't too many breeds that fit all of those qualifications. A poodle or poodlem mix is about all. Most tiny dogs aren't easy to train. They tend to be more stubborn than larger dogs. I'd say go to an animal shelter, tell them what you are looking for and then let them call you when a dog comes in that matches your discription.

I highly, highly, highly suggest you adopt from a shelter. So many dogs go into shelters daily and when they dont get adopted they get put to sleep because there isnt enough room. Some say that mixbreeds are healthier and live longer.

But if you are still looking for a purebred there are adoption agencies out there for certain breeds. Do a google search for the breed you want's adoption agency. Please save a shelter dog today.

Mini poodle...they don't shed, they are small, they are playful, mostly non aggressive. Usually house training any small breed dog can be a large task, as long as you are consistent and remain more stubborn than the dog you should do just fine.

Well first of all, you dont' want a pug! Pugs shed a LOT.

Mexican Hairless
Chihuahua (shorthair)
Teacup Poodle
Shih Tzu
English Toy Terrier/Toy Manchester Terrier
Maltese
Bichon Frise

Shiba Inus about 17 lbs but they are so easily house trained. However it does shed twice a year, and its playful. Other than the shiba Inu, pugs are the easiest dogs for you or maybe a chihuahua under 10 lbs.
