My dog loves beer. I usually have to put him away when friends come over to drink unless he's just warn out.
It all started when he was jumping all over my guests and a girl leaned over to pet him and and spilled some beer. My dog sniffed it and started lapping it up. He always wants beer now I'm taking him to the park today.

The most important here is not the citation for animal cruelty, what would come for sure if someone reports you, but his health that is in danger. If you love your dog, please, don't do that, he will be seriously sick in a short time, because his kidneys and liver will be damage. A dog must eat only dogs food of high quality and nothing else, lots of pure water and some dog's biscuits (no more than 2 a day) and small pieces of apple or carrots as a snack. Be happy with your dog and take care of you both. Good luck.

How about this...don't EVER give ANY animal alcohol! alcohol is a blood thinner and, it's not the best for brain cells eirther (which can't replicate like skin cells, so,once they're dead, they're dead for good)So, unless you want you're dogs lifespan cut in half, don't give him any alcohol. The dog doesn't love beer, he likes the attention he gets when he laps up the beer. Basically, to answer your question, It is probably an animal cruelty case, but your probably won't get a citation, you'll get the dog taken from you and a court date! your choice, but I vote, BE RESPONSIBLE! you wouldn't feed a child alcohol, would you?

Yes you can get reported for giving your dog beer. If you really care for your dog you would not do it.
