ok so i am thing on eith ier getting a snake or a lizard

Get a lizard. They are cheaper, easier to care for and so on. Particularly leopard geckos are good

A lizard. What type depends on what you are looking for. If you're looking for something strictly ornamental, a Tokay Gecko is good. If you're looking for something handleable, a Leopard or even a Crested Gecko isn't a bad idea. A Bearded Dragon is a good choice. Just be careful with any arboreal geckos. Some may be sweet natured, but all of them like to jump.

Get a lizard. They a cuter and seem to be nicer i have owned lizard and am geting a third one. I suggest some type of gecko.

I would recommend you check out the forums at www.reptilerooms.com and read about the different species. Ask questions. Make sure you can provide for whatever you choose--each species has different habitat, heat, light, and diet requirements.
