I have heard that if you give a dog a bath with Dawn Dishsoap that it will kill alll the fleas on the dog... just as good as any flea killing dips, shampoos. is it true....

She is Dark Brown with A Black Mask (like a raccoon)
Has a long tail, and short ears. (we have no idea who her daddy is).... She's 2 wks old and loves to eat. She is so cute, my Grandsons adore her already. We just can not come up with a suitable name. Help Please?

I have a 20 gallon tank with just 2 fish in it ( 2 female bettas) and im getting another 3 females in 2-3 weeks, Ok i also have a male betta on his own in a 5 gallon, Well i know your not suposed to keep male and females together, But would 5 females and 1 male be ok, Or is it a no no?

All together there would be 5female 1male betta in a 20 gallon tank.

I am fostering a dog that is half bulldog half boxer and is in desperate need of a temporary home. For the first six weeks he will be crated and only gets short walks as he recovers from heartwork. He is a year old. Does anyone have any idea what this combination is like? I'd like to adopt him after he recovers but I don't know if he will have enough space in my condo...He looks more like a boxer and weighs 35 pounds.

i don't know if it's just my yorkie, but he really just seems like a good beggar. when im eating he comes up to us and just gives us this pussinboots kinda look. we would occasionally give him a few pieces but he's always hungry for more and then i would use the computer which is next to his bed and he crawls in his bed making us feel sad for him. like he's trying to make us feel pity for him. i don't know what to do cause were always feeling sorry for him and giving him pieces of our food. do these dogs know in begging? i mean do they do it intentionally and know what they're doing?

Well my male yorkie is 6 yrs and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and a heart murmor about 6 months ago. Since then he has been getting progressively worse. The heart medication we give him has helped him so much to breath better and stop wheezing and hacking, but for the past couple weeks the med. has not helped very much. He has been having trouble catching his breath even when he is not moving. I have noticed recently he just wants to hide behind the couch or under the bed for most of the day. He just doesn't seem full of life anymore. Don't get me wrong sometimes he is still full of life running around and playing, but most of the time he just sleeps and does nothing. Today he seems just plain sick and reall distant, he has been behind the couch for all today and only came out to go to the bathroom or eat and drink. Is it time to let my baby go? If not what should i do? I love him with all my heart and just don't want him to suffer.

i was laying on my back on this horse that ive been training and i was there for about 5 minutes and all of a sudden she started bucking. i flipped off backwards and while i was in the air, i got kicked on the underside of my left arm and on the side of my left hip. 2 days later, there's a perfect imprint of the hoof on my arm and a cut and bruise on my hip. ive never been kicked before and for the first time in 10 years i'm kinda reluctant to go out to the barn and work even my own horse (because of nerves and soreness). should i take a couple days off or is it important to go back right away so the problem doesn't get worse?

I mean this in regards to everything: tack organization, grooming, feeding, tools etc. There used to be a horse magazine that ran a monthly column like this and I was frequently amazed with the things people invented.

im trying to get a chihhuahua and want to know as much as possible before hand. i have other questions on chihuahuas as well. back to this question.. i have heard froim several people that dont own chihuahuas that they are impossible to house train. but since thet people that tell me this dont even have achihuahua i wanted to ask people that own one themselves or know someone that has one.CHIHUAHUAS RULE!!!!!

We live in a very large apartment complex in downtown city and every time we take her outside everyone oohs and aahs about the puppy and tries to pet her. She gets excited and won't do what shes supposed to outside- then comes inside and pees.

How can we evade these well meaning people?

It is a golden barb, and after examining it, it seems to have pinky coloured scales on its gills, on both sides, and they look sore and inflamed, almost as if they are starting to peel off. Help!
