I walked into my room and looked at my box turtle, it appeared to be dead but then I tapped on the glass and it woke up, its head was all layed out on the rocks instead of in it's shell, is my turtle ok?

I have an under-gravel filter in a freshwater aquarium, and it dosn't seem to be keeping the tank very clean. It is powered by one of the air pumps, and just has the filters with carbon on top. The bubbles come up through a tube and go through the carbon to filter the water. I only have one fish in the tank, but it still seems cloudy, even after 2 months. The bubbles are coming through the top of the filter very fast. It is like a constant stream of bubbles coming out. What is wrong? Why is this not working?

In this age of personal expression through unique fashion statements, I'm thinking of taking my identity to the next level.

The thing is...

I have a Pekingese named Chester. He has a very distinct, vibrant smile when he's aroused, which people constantly compliment. Due to new innovations in dental implant technology, would it be morally correct to have the dog, in turn, recieve my teeth?

The issue is not whether I should have my dog's teeth, but would it be overly selfish of me to assume that my dog would be content sporting human teeth?

Please advise.
I don't want to seem self-centered, and I want to make this a positive experience for both Chester and me.

I have a 9 week old kitten who basically ruled this house, but I used to feel bad that I'd be gone for 8 hours and he'd be by himself here, so I got a 6 week old kitten today and my 9 week old hisses at him and follows him around, basically bullying him around, and I feel really awful that I'm subjecting them both this adjustment, would you know how long it will take for them to get along?

How can I find out how large my tank is? I scored a big tank of Freecycle today, with the hood, light, decor and everything. She said she thought it was a 20 gallon, but imo it looks larger. I want to say its a 29 gallon, but I dont know for sure. Either way, I love it, it was exactly what I was looking for, and best of all....it was free!

Measurements:

30 inches length
13 inches width
12 inches in height

Anyone know?

What does the itch disease for the fish look like? I just bought an angelfish last night. She is white and small. She appears to be healthy to me! She is eating and swimming around but I did notice on her tail she has a white dot. Its not off the skin or anything. I just am a new fish owner and worried that something could be wrong. What do you think?

My dog, a toy, apricot poodle, has scratchy eyes. He is always rubbing his head on the carpet, etc. to scratch it. I was thinking maybe its allergies, but what else could it be? He has tears sometimes, and so far there is no sign of discharge from his eyes. He also scratches his body sometimes, too. What is this?

Once when i got back from a vacation and walked in the door, my cat jumped on me and the rest of the day wouldnt let me out of her sight. I am having an issue with my dog (german Shapard age 5) All of a sudden simple daily rutines have become a game... every night we bring him in from the kennel he comes into his room and eats and we go inside to our part of the house... Lately, all of a sudden, he won't come in he just runs around the yard and avoids you and when you finally get him in his room he fights to get in the house with you... he wont listen to commands he always obayed and it is getting frustrating, ecpecially when we have to literally pull him into his room or force him somehow... None of us know what to do and don't want this to stay a habit and don't want to hurt the dog in this process one day by accident.... PLEASE help! I will appreciate any help i could get at this point...

I now have baby bettas (fry). I brought Brime Shrimp ( HUGE) n Baby shrimp by TETRA.
Is it ok if i break the thr Brime Shrimp n give it 2them????

is $158.00 dollars a good deal for a brand new 55 gallon or could i find a cheaper used one with a good pump and no leaks or scratches.

and also i cant remember what brand it is so if anyone is familiar with Wal-Marts fish tank selection let me know i think it was Aquatech Deluxe 55 or somehting like that it definitly said Deluxe 55
