Even baby brine shrimp will be too large for most of the betta fry. If they just hatched and are still in the bubblenest, you don't need to feed them right away, only after they become free-swimming. Buying a microworm culture or prepearing infusoria (takes a week to prepare) when you're trying to spawn fish is a good idea.

Until your fry are large enough to eat the baby brine shrimp, try hard boiled egg yolk (a very tiny amount, this can cause your water to go bad quickly) or buy liquid fry food at a pet store if you don't need it today.

If you start with Brime Shrimp only the strongest betta fry will survive - leaving you without an outcome of about one betta that will survive. baby shrimp is about the smallest food that you can feed them right now - so that would be fine, you also might want to check out the section on betta breeding on betta talk
