That is the thime of the season. Are not scared. A spider is very useful. Simply : puts outside. Cach in a glass. Puts a paperboard between the wall and the spider. Let live quietly further.

Find out if there is a hole between the cracks of your floor down to the basement. Then plug it up.
House spiders are normal when in small numbers. They are the natural predators of other insects, much more harm
ful to you, namely:
Mosquitoes. Depending on where you live, those can harbor malaria, dengue fever, sleeping sickness, west nile virus.
Ants. Ants come out during spring and may creep into your house through doors, window crevasses.
Cheer up, worry about them when there is a lot.

Honestly, buy a couple cheap geckos, like golden geckos, skunk geckos, etc. Only ones that can climb. Let them go in your room. Just make sure you turn a lamp on during the day for them to get heat and leave some crickets in an aquarium without a top a couple times a week to make sure they are getting enough food to survive. I loose a couple dozen crickets every week or 2 when I get my order, and the geckos work great.

ok spiders aren't reptiles, lol but jeez
you should get some raid or traps or other chemicals to kill them. Clean up any dusty corners that seem suspect for webs... clean regularly in dark corners or anyplace that a web would fit perfectly in. Also, get rid of the other bugs because that's their food!
or call an exterminator.

I've had a lot lately too. I found 5 spiders in 1 day! And I hate those things. You can set off one of those bug bombs you can buy at most any store or have a professional come in. I usually just make sure I kill every one I see.

I just leave my room for a few hours and by the time I go back I forget about it and its probably gone. But next time you see it get a shoe right away if its on the floor or somewhere easily to each Smack It! :P and if its on the wall or ceiling, or somewhere hard to reach, just keep throwin the shoe at it till you hit itt! Then i'm too scared to pick it up and throw it away once its died so I get someone else to do that for me later hehee Goood Lucck
