i don't know if it's just my yorkie, but he really just seems like a good beggar. when im eating he comes up to us and just gives us this pussinboots kinda look. we would occasionally give him a few pieces but he's always hungry for more and then i would use the computer which is next to his bed and he crawls in his bed making us feel sad for him. like he's trying to make us feel pity for him. i don't know what to do cause were always feeling sorry for him and giving him pieces of our food. do these dogs know in begging? i mean do they do it intentionally and know what they're doing?

Aw....:) That's so cute, my dog's just the same.

I think all dogs are that way; when they learn that begging gets them better food than their normal canned/kibble food, they beg ALL the time. Don't give him too many tidbits or he will be a big problem at the table.

I would say most indoor dogs are like that. Our Jack Russell is just as bad. She has these big brown eyes that she flashes at you with a sad inquiring look when you're eating. They just seem to love table food or the quality snacks they get when you're eating.

All dogs do beg, except you keep them as guard, and each time they see you with food, they will, its a natural Phenomenon.
So dont feel pity for him or her.

first off do not give your dog food from the table, just ignore the begging and when he walks away then you show attention to him! he sees this is i beg and they feed me...... trust me your dog is not starving! i actually feed my dogs the same time we eat so they dont beg, maybe that will work for you.

haha, i guess we'll never know. but, its normal..all dogs probably do/have done that in their lives. just make sure it doesnt become a habit of giving him food from the table or else it will get out of hand soon. and you dont need to feel bad for him =] they justSO CUTE LOOKING.
