Dogs for sure. I'm not really a cat person, if I found one starving or abused, I wouldn't just leave it, but I don't activly seek them out. I love dogs, I have groomed dogs for 14 years, and I also volunteer with rescue transport for death row dogs. I foster for a local pitbull rescue too. They are trainable, loving, smart, and cuddly, they will help you or defend you, they know when you are sad and try to comfort you, and I have 3 kids, so they help clean up after my 4 yo and 1 yo after dinner, what more could you ask for?
I could go on and on and on.

Both but for somewhat different reasons.
Cats: they are therapeutic and they are funny to watch when they jump around, prance and play. They are also sassy and have a personality of their own.
Dogs: they seem to be more loyal, playful with me, affectionate with me, and are great exercise partners.
I love my dog and cat the same.
This is my first dog, and all of my cats have been abandoned or strays. Take care of animals who need your help.

I love dogs. They are so loveable, and they'll love you right back. Cats won't cuddle with you at night, and they won't go on walks with you. I admit they're cute, and friendly, but dogs are better. Plus there is a bigger variety of dogs, than cats.

i like dogs and i prefer them because there more loyal because i heard stories of cats just attacking people for no reason but i wouldnt know i never owned a cat

cats are very independent, but often want attention but on their terms.
