I am fostering a dog that is half bulldog half boxer and is in desperate need of a temporary home. For the first six weeks he will be crated and only gets short walks as he recovers from heartwork. He is a year old. Does anyone have any idea what this combination is like? I'd like to adopt him after he recovers but I don't know if he will have enough space in my condo...He looks more like a boxer and weighs 35 pounds.

Its so nice to know that not all human beings in this world are cruel and selfish.
Thank you for helping our world and giving that dog a second chance at life. I am also fostering shortly and am thrilled to do so.

But I must say that both those breeds are GREAT dogs.

Bulldogs are very friendly, and I've never met one thats aggressive. They are hilarious little creatures that love their faithful human companions so long as the humans love them in return.

Boxers are pretty much the same, though much more active and lively than a bulldog. I think its the perfect combination of breeds to assure a friendly, family dog.

Good for you for fostering, and good luck!

If you've got a Foster care mentor or FP Support Specialist I desire you've got talked with them approximately this subject. First I might advocate that you just name and ask for a assembly with the manager. the employee is doing her activity however she demands to be extra respectful. Evidently she hasn't bought sufficient to move on and Probably does NOT feel that there's whatever amiss---if she did she would have moved the youngsters at any time---no previous detect is wanted in the ones situations. Without a doubt any person has made a criticism. Cooperate as you've got been doing. BUT---you have got to speak to her manager and ask what the trouble is---you DO have a correct to grasp. The first correct of OUR foster mothers and fathers is to be handled with dignity and respectful---that is a truly regulation right here. After OR earlier than you name for a assembly with the manager positioned all your questions and feedback approximately this employee in a letter and mail to the manager and on your FPSS and mail those letters now. If you've got a FPSS she might be happy to move with you. If the youngsters ARE moved you must dossier a complaint.

Good watch dogs:
Friendly as a rule very social. If they do not like a certain individual they sense something about the person not right. Best you shy away from that person.
like to play a lot of fun to have around.
Smart easy to teach: Note I said teach instead of train.
Good back seat drivers: Stay on their side of the car. don't nag or complain about your driving like wife or husband does: Just kidding there. I can sleep when my better half is driving. She is the only person I have ever been able to do that with.

Only problem like a bull breeds they might get a little rough when playing and bite down a little hard but you can teach them not to do that.
