He makes so much noise and i Dont want to take the wheel away and putting him in a different room isn't an option!!! What can i do!!!!!!

He drives me and my dad crazy ( who sleeps in the room next to me) It makes so much noise and i have no clue what to do!! He does it at 10pm and then starts again at 12 am and stops after a while then starts at 3 am!! The wheel isn't the problem the food bangs against the wheel and makes soo much noise!!!!

when you go to sleep take the food out and put it in a different place!

Put veg oil on it if it has a squeaking sound. The critter trail cages are too little. The hamsters WILL grow big. So i advise you to change a cage or buy one of those "add ons" to replace the wheel.

ok my hamster did that to what you need to do is you should get a metal bar cage but get one with holes in the wheel and and not and in-closed wheel when the hamster puts food in it will fall out and when the hamster wants the food it will go down and get it from the bedding~~~I really hope this helps~~~

i know mine did this with her crittertrail x, and it broke where the slide was so I got her the dazzle, she loves it, so far no food or bedding has been taken in. the only way to sleep is to put it in another room, ie bathroom tub, table in another room, or wear ear plugs, i put mine on the living room table at night, after they exercise in their ball on the floor. why can't you put him in a different room at bedtime????

get use to it. you shouldn't take the wheel away as hamsters need exercise and that's what they do.
