I have a white swordtail molly that I have had for about 4 months. Two months ago it looked pretty big and i had a male in the tank. It is realy big now and my other female molly is chaseing and nipping it. But not the other male dowmation molly. Why is it being nippid and should I move it into my small breeding container that floats at the top of the tank? Thanks

Ok. I have a Syrian female and my sister just got a male Syrian today. They look so much alike. They are so cute. I knew that we had to adopt him. Any who, he has his own place in her room. I did let the two greet and he sniffed her; she sniff him. The Syrian male hamster is bigger compared to her. I think he's a fat as s..(it's out of love), how can we help him lose wait?...I know taking him to the vet is imporant. We will do that soon. I always give my little one, (Albert) veggies; milk; fruit, of course her food too. So I give that same food to him?..Now, what is a don't in taking care of both of them?...I think it's cute when they get together.

I was thinking of getting a kitten but I live near a busy road. Although there is a large area out the back where it would probably be ok, I'm not sure it would be worth the risk. Would it be cruel for me to keep it indoor all the time?

I've had a Puggle (Pug/Beagle mix) for almost 2 years now since she was a itty bitty thing. She's my first dog and since I'm still new at this I have some questions....
(and if you could number your answers it would help too)

1. Do all dogs snore? She's really loud sometimes.
2. Do all dogs at some point in thier lives have to have their glands pressed (or whatever it's called)?
3. My friend has 5 dogs, 4 of them trim their own nails by nibbling them. Is this something that can be taught?
4. How old do they generally live to be?
5. She run laps around the coffe table every night before bed. Is this something she will someday grow out of? (I hope not, it's hilarious)
6. How do you transition a dog from being in a kennel when you're gone to being out in the apartment. Is it too early? I tried once leaving her in the bedroom when I went fishing but she opened my hubby's tums, took the sheets off the bed and threw up peppermint tums everywhere.

Hi! I feed my 6 month old Labrador Retriever puppy Purina One Large Breed Puppy Formula. I just want to know if this food is good. and my java looks kind of burnt i dont no why i have a 96 watt florecent light. i had took out some fish for about 2 months so i could afford some neons and discus so iahd an absents of fish but now i have 6 orange striped tetras and 3 flying foxes and my plants have been looking like this for about 2 weeks my anubias has some blck dots and appers to be wilting and my java apears dark green and black spots and looks burnt help please its a 40 gallon

If I use the good judgement of several long time breeders of top dogs in my breed. For info on if I should breed the dog and what dog to breed it to. Is that enugh? Do I still need to show? I would like to get in to agility and obedeance, but my family is closed to the idea of conformation showing.

When I go to bed my cat jumps up and buries his nose in the duvet and kneads. While he is kneading his "hind quarters" start shivering and he looks like he is humping in slow motion. I wonder if this is weird, as I have gotten him fixed already. He was 9 months old, but he had never sprayed or anything. Has this happened to any of you?

will they grow back? And what's the effect if they don't, he's very spoilt and doesn't go out, except on the verandah most of the time he's asleep somewhere.Are there any serious problems, with him not having whiskers?

And before anyone asks what's a 6 year old doing with scissors, they are supposed to be children's plastic paper only scissors!!!

My 2 mollies and 2 swordtails (in my 5 gallon tank) always look hungry. I walk into the room and they come to the top of the tank where I feed them. I turn the light on and they come to where I feed them. I leave and check on them and they're still there. They gobble down the BIG flakes but not the smaller ones. I used cloudy water stuff and it doesn't help!!

first question is spawning?? im slightly confused on this one. is spawning when they go about looking for holes and digging them ect like nesting??? secondly what age can they lay eggs from or what size?? third is how long does it take to lay eggs from the time she meets her man to the egg laying?? i have 6 convicts 2 of them one boy one girl have been swimming together and chasing all others away,also digging lots of holes and she lays on the sand and kinda shakes her body.whats going on hear?? she has a red belly so does all the other famales,she about 2inc long the boy is about 3 half inches ,any info will be great,thanks

ok...I have always shown and owned horses bu tI recently rescued a 2 yr old Tb stud named Diego..he was a hurricane Katrina victim. He is in Pro training right now for jumping...there is a pic of him below...what do you htink a good show name is for him...I really liked "The rescued one" ...what do you think??? thank you all so much!!!

OK, my platys are doing "No 2's" like mad now...!!
I carried out a water change earlier today - 20% and a clean - all the platys are looking fine and quite happy... except they are continually pooping...!!!

I am not kidding, just now all 4 of them had poo coming out that was 2-3 inches long...! The longest was at least 4 inches...!! I have never seen so much, is this normal??

I have tested all my levels since the water change - Amm 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 25 and pH 7.6 - so all OK, exactly the same as before my water change.

Please let me know if this is something I should worry about, or if it's normal for small platy's to have such long poos.....!!!

I have a baby painted turtle in a 10 gallon tank with an area to bask-how much water should I have in the tank for him & can I put sand in the bottom of the the tank? I know they drink the water they swim in, so I was wondering if sand is a bad idea? I had aquarium stones in it, but the tank just got so dirty, so I took them out. I just ordered a filter too,so maybe I can put the rocks back in?

we cant take him to the vet until the morning and he fell of the counter plaing with our change jar and we assume it fell on his leg,we didnt actually see it. He is whining cant walk on the leg at all and when we pcik him up he just meows and the effected leg just dangles.Anyway I just wanted to know if there is anything we can do to help with the pain until tommorrow morning anything will help thank you,by the way he is only 11 weeks old im sure that makes a difference since he is so young.
