When I go to bed my cat jumps up and buries his nose in the duvet and kneads. While he is kneading his "hind quarters" start shivering and he looks like he is humping in slow motion. I wonder if this is weird, as I have gotten him fixed already. He was 9 months old, but he had never sprayed or anything. Has this happened to any of you?

Just got my 2 fixed also. The vet said that this would not prevent them from trying to get some action. Especially with the male. Sometimes, she said, they will stop doing it after awhile especially as they get older. But if not you just have to ignore it.

My male cat is almost 2 and he humps EVERYTHING. Like a wild man. My daughter suggested we get him reneutered, but he is fixed. It must be a natural thing for them to do>

Cats just do that when they're extremely happy. He's just feeling contented and stuff. Nothing to worry about.
