i live where it gets hot i have a rottwilder she has a dog house and there is alot of shade. my question is i bought a a water jug like constuction worker use if i put a bowel of water in the frezzer at night then in the morring when i fill up her water put the ice block in her water to keep it cold would it be okay for her to drink cold water?

i bought a brush for my dog that says it will make her coat soft, shiny, and healthy.

any tips on brushing her?
how long, and how often?

also, if i want her to stop shedding so much, should i brush her a certain way, or for a certain amount of time?

Ok my friend gave me an 10 gallon aquarium because he was *bored* with it and other than overtocking how does it sound? It's REALLY healthy, it has 12 fish(LOL) and it has an aquatech 10-20 powerfilter and a preset @ 79 degree heater, a "floating" thermometer, LIVE Plants such as java moss, water wister, sprite, dragons toung, amazon sword,purple plant CRYPT?, LOTS of hiding places.... blue, pink, green and black gravel. THE FISH ARE SOOOO HAPPY!!!oh yea and an aquarium background. The fish are a crowntail betta, 2 fancy guppies, 2 SAEs (im moving them SOON!), 2 neon tetras(1 died*:(*), 2 normal white skirt tetras, 1 "Hi-Fin" tetra, 2 "normal" black skirt tetras. SO what do ya think?

i have an exoterra 12x12 terrarium and already have a small frog in it...but im not gonna keep the frog forever since i caught it in my yard.....and i was wondering if anyone could suggest any reptiles or amphibians that could live in the terrarium the rest of their lives? and include basic care?

I had a dog when I was 12 years old. She helped me make it through all the rough teenage years. 15 years later she passed away and I am having a hard time trying to grasp the issue of grief. It has been 10 months since she has been gone but I am continually driving myself insane with it. Sometimes I think she is still there because I hear sounds and/or have vivid dreams about her. People are constantly pestering me to get another dog but i'm so affraid to get attached again. When is it the right time to go to a grief counciler?--Do people even go to these for lost animals? and is it even important to go or will it eventually pass with time?

My mom does not like my dogs INSIDE the house...they shiver in the night...and I've told her they can get sick and u have to pay for medicine...and I have tried everything...but she doesn't care...I try to take care of them by asking my mom if i can go 2 the park with them...and she says NO...or take care of urself!!! I can't even take care of my own dogs and she yells at me for NOT taking care of them!!! wtf...that is weird...right now i need to try to get her to let them stay in the house...THE ARE CHIHUAHUAS...i can't have them sleep outside!!!...

i bought a yoyo loach about a year ago to get rid of the small snails in my tank. It got rid of all of the snails within a couple days.. now i have recently added new plants and mroe snails are beginning to take over by tank again but now the yoyo isnt eating them.. ive tried fastign the fish for a couple days but nothing seems to make him want to eat them.. any ideas why he isnt eatign the snails or what i coudl do to make him eat them??? is this normal??

I ve got a big fish tank with diferent species of cold water fish . 1 of the smaller ones got picked on by others 4 sum reason and noiw looks like a ball ! no fins at all .
