Is it natural to get romantic feelings for your horse?

I have a beautiful 3 months old shih tzu and he is healthy and gets check up regularly by the vet. My roomate's puppy is about the same age and she's never been to a vet and she has a very bad flea problem. She doesn't know how to walk because my roomate never try to walk her and she never got any potty train so she goes potty inside the house. I don't let them play together because my puppy is still in a process of getting rounds of vaccination (the 3rd set) and I don't want him to get flea problems (he is being treated with frontline). My vet also told me that it's best if I keep him away from the other puppy. The day I brought my puppy home, my roommate told me as a joke that she's gonna make them (her puppy and my puppy) mate so she can get offsprings. She told me this when she found out how much I paid to get my puppy. Her puppy is a daughter of a street dog and she doesn't know what her pup is mixed with.

I adopted my kitten 6 months ago from the Humane Society. He was 2 months old. After I brought him home, he got sick. He was diagnosed with Herpes. He was put on medication daily and another med every other week. He Has had all his shots since and is an indoor kitty. He does eat inappropriate things that I have to watch out for, ie..kleenex, toilet paper, cardboard, carpet fibers, etc.. He has vomited on some days so bad and so much, even bile, wound up $200 later, that he was constipated and put on a laxitive. More symptoms a month later, I brought him back to the vet, $700 later, more x-rays, blood work and urinalysis, with a free pedicure for the back claws, he has bad liver and kidney values and they want to do exploratory surgery. Blood work sent out and told today he has or had heart worms. I do not have the money for surgery. I am going to get a 2nd opinion also. What do you know about heart worms and cats survival and does it have to do with his other organs?

An old man lives across the road from us and he is continuly complaining to council about our barking dogs even though they dont bark at all. One time he complained when we were on holidays with the pups! He approaches us quite agressively and writes us firm letters. He has threatened to poison our cats and set traps to kill them. When we go to the supermarket to get food, strangers come up to us and say, "oh you are the people the live across the road from stan with the barking dogs" - its so embarrassing! He is maintaining constant surveillance on us and our house and we he cant see us he moves so he can!!!! I am having nightmares where i wake up in a sweat over barking dogs and we keep our curtains, doors and windows closed at all times. We check the mail once a week and I have jumped a few times when the letter man had delivered our mail, thinking its neighbour giving us another letter. I have increased asthma attacks and my blood pressure was 170 over 116 the other day!! HELP!!

I have an almost 5 month old male standard poodle puppy. I also have a 2 year old female in heat. It seems unlikely he can get her pregnant, though he is more than willing... Is it possible?

He was purchased to be a breeding stud for this female, so please don't suggest getting him fixed... :)

This dog was just given to us - my husband has cattle and he's hesitant to carry it to the farm since it hadn't been around cattle! We have a small dog that weighs 15 lbs - they have fun chasing each other and the Aussie seems to try to herd the smaller dog! The Aussie seems very
smart and I'm trying to teach it some basic obedience commands. My husband is afraid that it will just chase the cattle, thus causing them
to lose weight! Does anyone know of a book that teaches Australian Shepherds how to herd cattle? This dog had been in a home with an adult woman and small children since it was a young puppy - it got too big to be a housedog and they tied it outside. The woman said when she tried to leash walk the dog that it would not "heel" and, more or less "drug her along" as he was too strong for her to hold him back! I've been keeping him in a 10x10x6' kennel and letting
him out in the mornings to run & play to get his excerise! I haven't trield leash walking him yet!

Hey guys, I have a few questions about rats since I might be taking one home from my animal care class over the winter break/
1. Do they escape easily out of cages?
2. Since I have 6 guinea pigs, would it be best to keep the rat in a different room. Since it might have to be quarinteened(sp?)
3. How long should I take him out for a day? He lives by himself so it's not like he has a buddy to play with.
4. I have a small gate that I use for my guniea pigs, now would that really work for Rats since they climb alot.
Thanks guys in advance :).

He has all the symptoms for it except he has a good coat. I read this on the internet. He finished the new antibiotic yesterday. Today, he peed on the rug and floor right in front of us, Twice! I think he has Kidney Failure. My dad is going to try to order more antibiotic pills online. We have been to the vet about 2 times this month! The first time they thought he injested something toxic. He stayed on an IV overnight. The second time they thought he had either Prostate Cancer, an infection or a bump. She gave us antibiotic to give him for three weeks. All of sudden, he is done with the pills and the same behavior comes back for the third time. Does anyone know anything I can do for him? A special Diet, etc.? I really believe that he has Kidney Failure. Thank you for your answers!

We've had our pupppy (German Shepard) since he was 4 weeks old (on fourmula) and when we go to sleep I've always put him in a kennel cab. Now that the puppy is eating food he wakes me up at least once maybe twice in the middle of the night and has to go potty. I stopped feeding him around 3 or so in the afternoon and make sure I let him out several times before I put him to bed, but nothing seems to help. For now he sleeps in his kennel cab by my son and I and doesn't seem to mind that. So I think it just comes down to not wanting to make a mistake in it. Should I not put him in the Kennel cab at night? This is starting to drive me crazy since once I'm awake I can't go back to sleep for hours and by the time I fall back to sleep he starts to cry and has to go potty again. Once more the puppy is now 8 weeks old. Thanks, Holly
