This is an adult (1-2 yr) black and white tuxedo cat, spayed female. I got her in September from a shelter. At the time, she did not chew wires. But about 2 months later she chewed through some and damaged more. She continued to do this intermiittently, but now it is an obsession. She is watching me right now and is staring at her next objective: a lamp cord. I do not know how to make her stop. Can anyone tell me what t do to stop this?
Thank you
Camilla

Who has heard about the drunk guy that revved up a chainsaw and killed the dog?

That man should be put in an electric chair. If you want to , look online for an artcile. It makes you wanna cry, doesn't it?

Help! 2 of my goldfish (commons) and seriously gettin aggresive towards one of my smaller fish (fantail) .... theyve been living together for quite a while now in an 80 litre tank and only suddenly last night and this morning have the two commons been chasing the fantail very very fast and nipping the the side of its body and belly. They keep almost pushing it so close to the surface theres splashing. The fantail has been cornered several times in just half and hour.

Are they trying to kill it?

i have 2 other fan tails in the tank too- so why just this one?

help! i dont want my goldfish going belly up!

About a year ago we bought two everyday run of the mill goldfish. They were in a fairly small tank to begin with and one of them started really growing . We decided to get a bigger tank which we did and now the one that is growing is huge but the other one hasn't grown at all as far as we can tell. We have now added to black goldfish and they stay about the same size but the one is still growing. We started calling him porky lol. What would make one fish grow so big and the other one not change at all.

A caregiver for the community cats in my neighborhood just informed me that a couple of the community cats had been killed and eaten by stray dogs who happened to wander around in our neighborhood. Does anyone know if stray dogs will actually kill and eat cats when they are hungry?

Hi, and thanks for reading. My Nanna is very old and has a Maltese dog that is the love of her life. It is in need of grooming and clipping. I know how to clip a poodle, and have no worries about bathing the dog. But I have no idea how to do a Maltese cut? Does anyone know of a step by step guide online? Or can someone explain it for me. I.E "Lift the ear and shave with the grain to the nose"....As i am not sure how to achieve that classic maltese cut that my Nanna loves. Thanks for your time.

i have a dwarf hamster, and i went to check him out today, and i think hes sick, he has this white stuff in his eyes, and from what i could tell, wet tail, could these be related? i gave him 6 drops of dritail, and he seems to be acting wierd, like hes hungery, but his bowl is half full, the water bottle is easy to access, and his behaivior seems to have changed, he now sleeps inside the bedding. i would take him to a vet, but the only one in the aeria isnt trustworthy, he tried to make me pay for stuff i hadent asked for in te first place. so i left the place and to him, i owe $50 i think. that and its 4 in the morning. he has another cage buddy, but hes just that, a buddy, he isnt mean, he never takes the food for himself, and he never fights. hes the perfect hamster. the other one, however, this is his third time getting sick. only he never had this white stuff in his eyes. please tell me if it could get stalin sick, and how i should treat it

My Maine Coon cat seems to be brushing away something on the water surface with her paw before she drinks. She does this whether drinking from her own clean water bowl or from a dirty puddle outside. I've never seen another cat do this.

I have got a scratching post for my cat but she won't use it. Ive had the cat for 5 years but she ignores the s. post walks straight past it and claws away at the sofa. Anyone had this problem with their cat and what did you do about it?

We've never let the sleep with us before, but we do occasionally let them in to wake us up at the weekends.

I think the change is because they've grown up, and their voices and scratching is a little louder.

There's not really anyway to shut them in a different part of the house and I'm not keen on letting them in the room at night, I'm far too light a sleeper and they like to move around.

Any suggestions?

I supplement her diet with nuts, vegetables and fruit (lettuce, celery, grapes, apples) and even some cat food since I've read that hamsters are NOT vegetarians. Is all this enough or do I absolutely have to buy hamster food?

Three weeks ago, we got a 7 month old black lab puppy. He's been fed Purina Puppy Chow all his life, and I know it's not considered a good food for dogs. I bought a bag of Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul for him, but then I realized the store doesn't sell the large breed formula that the company makes. Should I switch to a large breed puppy food? I'm considering Nutro Natural Choice. (I haven't opened the Chicken Soup brand yet.) Help!
