Yes they certainly do breed. If you want to buy a parrot, go through a breeder. Don't go through a pet store. It will cost you less and the bird will be much more tame! Buy a bird through the breeder and you can ask questions and be sure to get the right answers. Those pet shops hire anyone and half the time they don't know what the heck they're talking about!

1 parrot cant breed. You would need a male and a female. Males and females obviously breed or there would no parrots in the world.

Yes they breed, should you just jump into it blindly no. First read everything you can and research what kind of bird you want..I would suggest getting a cockatiel or a budgigar (parakeet to some). Before even buying the bird, research it, find a respectable breeder, quarantine if you have other birds, but don't jump right into breeding either. You have to do a lot of reading..vet checks, ect. One thing, most breeder birds aren't friendly birds. They have a job to do and that is to protect thier young and they will do so viciously. But please research and read..link below for a great place to research breeding of birds.

I really would like to answer this question in an adult manner, but think about what you just asked. Or is this suppose to be like a funny wake up and smile type of question. If you have other birds and want to know if your other birds will try and breed with your new bird, the answer is no unless you have another bird of the same species. If you have no other birds in your home, what did you think this parrot woud breed with? (never mind, I don't think I want to know the answer to that one).

yes they do . i would recommend a cockatiel ( or quarrion ) pending where you live --- but they are a delightful small parrot that are easy to manage and live a goodly time if they ( like any animal ) are well looked after but the can be a bit possessive but nonetheless are very good company and indeed good breeders
good luck .
