She is crying, scratching at the door and windows to get out (she is an indoor cat though)... I am going to spay her, they say to BEFORE the first heat, but she went into it earlier than most (about 4.5- 5 months old now!)
Anything I can do, or shouldn't be doing to help her through this? I have been petting her, mostly the neck and head area... but also some along the small of her back ( this makes her even more crazy... figured it is probably BAD to do whilst she is in heat.) Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

I would like a lizard but would like to take a quiz to see which one fits my lifestyle. I would like one with the results of pets found at popular petstores like petco and not ones that I have to find by breeders. Thank You!

I have two dogs that are half Labrador and half Australian Shepherd, they are both so friendly and loveable and we adore them but when left in the house alone ,even for a short span of time, they chew everything in sight. We have to put them in when we leave sometimes because it is just too cold to leave them outside for extended periods. We try to take precautions so they won't chew everything but nothing is working. They have ruined our two couches and they have even ruined our door frames, window sils, furniture legs and a corner of the house outside. Does anyone have any solution to this problem that is literally eating us up? We love our dogs but we can't afford to replace anything at this time. Please help if you can, and thanks to all who write!

How do I get rid of the nasty tom cat from down the road coming into my yard and bashing into my cat. My cat is desexed he so gently and does not like to fight other cats he tries to befriend this nasty tom cat from down the road but it just bashes into him, I sit outside with him and hunt it away when comes to get him, but it is getting real sly, it waits till I go inside then it tries to get him. I dont want to hurt this nasty tom but I am getting really sick of it's behaviour I have also seen the nasty tom and another cat both bashing into my cat I had to go out and throw rocks at them and bring my cat inside.

Are there any types of snakes that just eat insects? My nephew wants a snake badly and his mom says that would be fine but there is no way she will allow rodents to be fed.

I just got my first two guinea pig. I want to give them a bath because they kinda stink right now. But i'm in doubt if it is safe for their age. You see they're just four months old.

i work part time and me and others are in the house to keep him company most of the time. i don't want to take him to pet care or get a pet sitter, and I use the crate for short periods of time. i keep tv on for noise and provide him with fresh water toys and treats when im not there. what else can i do to make him feel good while im out of the house? ( to those who are going to criticise: yes, i do intend to keep my dog, he's a very happy pup and he's well cared for.)
