I would like a lizard but would like to take a quiz to see which one fits my lifestyle. I would like one with the results of pets found at popular petstores like petco and not ones that I have to find by breeders. Thank You!

I don't know of any sites with a reptile quiz (I've seen these for dogs, though). I do know of several good sites with info on reptile care though. You might look up info on types of animals in which you are interested and see which might fit your lifestyle best. I would recommend leopard gecko or bearded dragon, if you are inexperienced. Ones to stay away from would be iguanas and chameleons as these require a lot of care. Uromastyx are great, but need a lot of heat (basking spot 120 degrees!).

Leopard Geckos Can Be Handled And DO Not Require UV Light And Only Need A 10 Gallon Tank For Adults. And Grow 8-10 Inches Full Grown.

Many lizards require specific care and the initial set up is not cheap.

Look up Bearded Dragon Care sheet and Uromastyx care sheet. They are great beginner lizards. Both do require UV lighting and basking lights though so that is an extra expense about 2 times a year.

other than the leopard gecko they reguire uv light and of course
heat and the right aquarium, other than that they make pretty cool pets, oh what ever u do don't get a iguana they are not for beginners, trust me.

people who take this quiz will think the lizard or reptile they should get is easy to take care of, and they can go out there and just get it, cause the quiz said so. owning a reptile takes alot of knowledge and preparation, buying a reptile should not be a spur of the moment thing, this is how reptiles die or become neglected with the wrong care. id think twice before you encourage people to get pets they shouldnt be having in the first place.

Honestly, if you need some internet quiz to tell you which animal you should get...that generally means you shouldn't have one at all. If you have no clue how to care for a lizard don't get one. They are not as easy as people say.
