My cat growls like a dog! We do have 2 other doggies, But can cats growl? Or is it not sopposed to be that way! mainly at night she growls.

Both my birds bite. I can't take them out, reach into the cage without them trying to bite or nailing me. I'm getting real sick of it. Any suggestions as to what I can do to stop or curb this? Thanks.

He had gotten lost in the house for a long time. When I found him he was very under nourished. The muscles on the top of his head are caved in. Is this some kind of condition or is it just due to the malnutrition. I have been opening his mouth and putting worms in. Ounce I get it passed his jaw he will begin to swallow. He has not opened his eyes since i found him. That was three days ago. He does move around the tank threw out the course of the day. He breathes slowly but it is at a reagular pace. Might he just be hybernating. He is also 13 to 14 years old so it just may be his time. If any won knows. let me know. The mustles on his head is what concearns me the most and his left nostrol appears to be closed. Help please.

I have a 7 1/2 month old male neutered lab. He barks at me all the time. When i am gone he is crated. He doesn't bark when i leave. I stand outside the door before leaving and when coming home and don't hear barking. When i am home, however he barks at me constantly. He gets 2 good walks in a day plus i play with him and his toys. He doesn't have to go to the bathroom and his food/water needs are met. Every hour and a half or so he will just bark at me (wanting to play-he will do play bows and run around with toys). I know labs are hyper but this is nonstop. Each barking episode lasts about 20 minutes. and he is getting worse. He now barks in the middle of the night wanting to play. I try to ignore him and never play with him when he misbehaves. I am waiting to hear back from my vet about this. But has anyone had any situations simlar to this? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this? He is driving me crazy. I can no longer do any work at home.

I have a male coon cat who's fur is falling off his back, it is itchy to him, but he wont let me touch it. he is very big weighs around 25lbs.

I just bought a beautiful placo and all he does is hide and i was wondering if he would come out once he is used to the tank?
(His tank mates are 1 Neon Blue Dwarf Gourami, 1 regular dwarf gourami, 8 neon tetras, and 2 hachet fish. they are in a 44 gal tank with heater and filter i do a 10% water change every week and 30% every month)

I also need to know if the food have will give my hachet fish the protien they need it has brine shrimp in it(dried of course) they seem to like it.

Well he has a uv light set up...i read in a book that they need some type of heat sorse at night, but they like it dark...so i went to a pet store and bought and heat pad thing, u stick it to the bottom of its cage and u plug it in it doesent seem to get really hot more of a warm, i was just wondering if that will hurt my lil friend thanx
