I believe if you supply them with mice food, the mother will feed them that food.

Baby mice should strictly have their mother's milk because the milk provides certaim nutrients that the babies must need in order for them to develope to healthy adult mice. Every ,puse is different but you should separate the male from the female mice as soon as you can differentiate their gender. Mice can reproduce several times an hour so I would suggest after 2-3 weeks, introduce them to tiny amounts of lettuce, bits of boiled eggs, cheese, tiny pieces of chicken (without the skin) and see if they will eat them.
Here's a great website on learning more about taking care of mice and it even has homemade recipes for mice food.

Sometimes it is a good idea to soften some of the adult mice food with water and put it in a little dish close to the nest. The babies sometimes smell it and eat it and other times the mother actually takes it to them. Solidish food is good for the younger mice especialyl when they are getting teeth. Solid food is like a teething ring for mice pups.

I have had baby mice eat the same food the mother eats. I am not sure what age they were, but they were both eating from mom and attempting to eat the food.

I rescued a nest of baby mice from my old work. They were going to be killed. They barely had their fur, but eyes weren't open. The easiest thing I found to feed them was bread. They loved it, and they all grew up strong and I released them in a country field. Bread was the only thing I could do for them! They would come and nibble...and it sustained them! Granted, You've got the mom mouse...but if they won't eat their mouse food, try the bread to get them to eat on their own! GOOD LUCK!

Mice are weaned and ready to eat solid food less than 3 weeks after they are born. They are adults at 6 weeks, full grown at 12 weeks, and elderly at 1 year.
Hope this helps.

at 3-4 weeks try introducing solid food like some bread soaked in milk or some egg or cheese, then introduce food like apples, potatoes(not potatoe chips!) and then the food you feed the adult mice.
