We've had 3 kittens that we saved and domesticated for the last few months now. They've been living in a small room in our house together and we have just found a home for two of them (together). The third kitten that we kept is looking very lonely and sad, but we have an adult cat we want to introduce her to soon.

My questions are this:
1. What should we do to make her less sad about her sisters going away?
2. How can we help her feel comfortable sleeping at night (she's always slept in a basket with her two sisters up until now and I'm sure she'll be sad and lonely without their warmth, closeness, and noise at night)
3. How should we introduce her to the adult cat? (a boy, 3 years old, medium sized, not overweight, fixed, not declawed but they are kept clipped)
4. What should we do if she doesn't eat?

It's not an option to send her with her sisters, so please suggest other ways of comforting/caring for her to make the adjustment less hurtful on her little heart.

How ever she is register under CKC, Her fathers name is General Lee and her Mothers name is Texas Tornado. Both pure bred. Her name is Princess Chenel Powder and she is a princess. How would you like it if someone called your dog a mutt? I have talked with AKC and they have informed me it was okay to breed her with either a Yorkie or a Schnauzer and still regonize her breed. Powder is one of the smartest and sweeties dog. My Snoodle that I got from the pound could climb trees. I had him for 13 years before I put him down. I'm not some stupid person that doesn't know what she is doing. That is right. Not Scott. This is cindy 48 years old. I asks a question about any one that might know about stud service in the area. The answer my dog is a mutt from every one of you. That wasn't the question. I have one Yorkie three generations that wants to breed with my Powder and two Schnauzers. They are all AKC.

I adopted a dog who is between 8-10 months and was told that she is housebroken but she is NOT. I am leaving her in the crate all the time except to eat and go outside to do her business. How long should I keep doing this before I let her free in the house? Will she learn to associate outside with "potty?"

I was wondering if anyone might have any suggestions for me. My dog started throwing up about 6 months ago. I took her to two different vets, had complete blood work and x-ray exams done. Was told by both vets that nothing is wrong with her. They suggested feeding her late at night since she most often was throwing up bile in the mornings and meant her stomach was empty. I tried that and it didn't work. Now it seems that she has gotten in the habit of throwing up and will throw up if she doesn't get breakfast or dinner at the exact same time each day. I've been trying to make sure that she is fed around or before her normal breakfast and dinner time so she doesn't start thinking about throwing up. But she is now also throwing up when she gets up off her bed or runs down the stairs.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with their dog or if you have any suggestions.

Thanks!

I just noticed that my cat has worms, I know it sounds gross, but does anyone know anything that I can give her to get rid of it, or something till I get to the vets? I have went to all sorts of pet stores and nobody seems to have any worm medication in stock, I guess it must be worm season. Any suggestions?

I am looking for a unique and interesting idea for my 55 gallon fish aquarium...any good ideas to offer? I don't want a background so it is visible from both sides. Any help with themes, lighting, anything is appreciated!

he's only 13 weeks old, but my puppy seems very dominant already. he's been fairly easy to train so far...he can sit, lay down, come and is potty training very well. i think the problem is that he may not recognize me as "the boss" yet. i've tried several methods to make him stop biting/nipping (which really hurts when he's excited) with minimal success. a few people suggested pinning him down until he "gives up" and stops fighting, but the last few times i've tried he still growls and tries to bite while he's pinned. as soon as he's up he goes after someone trying to bite again. he bites, growls and barks when he doesn't get what he wants, for instance when i stop playing with him or push him off the coffee table. he also barks when i tell him to lay down lately. he starts puppy class in february...any ideas until then? i'm also going to make an appt. to get him fixed soon because he started mounting my couch and pillows yesturday. will that help much? thanks

I have an old parakeet, who suddenly started losing feathers around one eye, which is now swollen underneath. I cannot afford to take him to the vet ($98 for the exam alone) especially due to his age. Does anyone know if it is safe to put erythromycin 0.5% ointment on the bird's eye?

It seems like she's trying to eat him! I'm not sure, but it's only my tabby that she's doing it to. She tried to mess with my other 2, but isn't successful with them. Is it because my tabby is passive and the other 2 will go back at her? Thank you for you help!
