I was wondering if anyone might have any suggestions for me. My dog started throwing up about 6 months ago. I took her to two different vets, had complete blood work and x-ray exams done. Was told by both vets that nothing is wrong with her. They suggested feeding her late at night since she most often was throwing up bile in the mornings and meant her stomach was empty. I tried that and it didn't work. Now it seems that she has gotten in the habit of throwing up and will throw up if she doesn't get breakfast or dinner at the exact same time each day. I've been trying to make sure that she is fed around or before her normal breakfast and dinner time so she doesn't start thinking about throwing up. But she is now also throwing up when she gets up off her bed or runs down the stairs.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with their dog or if you have any suggestions.

Thanks!

I found a couple of links that may help you. A product called Anti Vomiting Formula at the first link and it also gives some advice for identifying the causes for vomiting.
A product called Lectade at the second link is mentioned in the treatment at the bottom of the page. I have never heard of it but you could ask your Vet about it. The site is from United Kingdom but don't let that scare you away from maybe trying the treatment. Just be sure to print both pages and ask your vet to see if either treatment is safe- its better to be safe and double check than to cause more problems.
Good luck and I hope you're able to help solve her problem before it causes long-term damage.

Yes you should have your vet refer you to a veterinary internal medicine specialist. They can do a more thorough exam including ultrasounds, endoscopy's, and other specialized examinations. Hope this helps and you find out what the problem is!

it sounds like a difficult case. Ask your vet for a referral to a specialist (a vet boarded in internal med that specialized in gastroenterology)

wow..im sorry. take her to a specialist (not a vet)the vet wont help at all..they care about the animals but in your case is kind of hard to find out what your dog has...talk to your parents about it.

I REALLY THINK IS BECAUSE YOU DONT GIVE HER ENOUGH WATER..PLEASE GIVE HER WATER!!!!!!
