Okay so I brought my new ferret home today, and when I put her in her new cage she went nuts lol. She is jumping and running and attacking everything. Is this normal?

Actually, all ferrets are insane and what ever they do is normal. This includes running and jumping when in a new location.

Comong from someone that has had many pets it is perfectly ok. You just need to make it feel like home. talk to it even if its asleep. It will eventually warm up to you and its new home and then just act a little carzy just like all ferets do.
