I do and yes some may say I am sad because I love it but who cares get over it...............but I can tell you now that if I took my dog on and got Mick and he tried to take control of my dog with his military ways i would lay down and cry :( he scares me !!!!!!!!!!!!! love the show but sometimes I think it is the owners that need the training not the dogs ;)

yes i do, its good, its amazing how some people on there wonder why they have problems with there dog. I like it's me or the the dog, i think that's better. With dog borstal mick seems to want every dog to be good at agility. I bet he made a good police handler, but i dont think i would want to be his partner on the show.

Watch "The Dog Whisperer" then see what YOU think! Dog borstal's ok but they're not a patch on Cesar.

Yep I watch it and think the methods are good but some of the owners are totally thick. The show does have genuine cases though and that is good to watch. Mick is great and I would love to take our Dally Miller to him, you can't just say it's crap as per previous answer without giving a reason, that's just ignorant. Why do you ask?

I do and I love it! I would like a piece of that Mic though!! I love it when they pair him with a lapdog instead of the rottie or GSD!! His face is a picture!
I agree with the answer about Mic always doing agility - some dogs just don't want to do this.
The other two trainers are excellent too! And I agree with the previous answers who say that it is the owners who need training - especially those who believe that their pooches are child substitutes! I love my Goldens to bits but all dogs have their place - my two are just above my hubby and two sons in the hierarchy in this house!!!! The cats are just above them!

I agree with odd dog, sometimes the dogs at the end are very slow in their responses, and pass,
I think a lot of dogs need taking in hand, that GSD had the potential to become a real dangerous animal,so good on the owner and trainer for getting that sorted, and not just gertting rid of the dog as LOT OF PEOPLE DO,BECAUSE ITS BECOME A NUISANCE BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN LACK OF KNOWLEDGE,AND UUUM SHHHHHHHHH oops sorry for caps, don't tell hubby but I kinda had naughty thoughts about Mick, cough cough,

The show is entertaining but the methods used are a little suspect! If you thrust a bottle in front of a dog's face as if to hit it, then clearly it will stop doing the particular behaviour.

I think Mick Martin is excellent, but I'm an ex army kennel maid/dog handler so would be OK with his ways, the other 2 are also good, I sometimes feel though that the dogs pass their tests when they really aren't good enough, but that's just my opinion.

I think its good. It shows that it is almost allways the way the owners handle the dogs that causes the problems, and it shows simple effective ways of handling common problems.
