I bring my rabbit inside my room allot of the times because it gets really cold outside. I am allergic to fur so I try to keep her away from things I would stink my nose/face in such as my bed, pillow, clothing, ect. She has taking a liking to jumping on my bed lately which is a big no-no. Is there any way that I can train her not to do this??

We adopted a pair of 5-month old boy kittens (fixed) last week. One is already affectionate and playfull but the other hisses at me and freaks out at my husband (hissing & clawing & biting). I don't want to just ignore him as I want him to get used to us - but he doesn't seem to want to be touched at all. He was ok the first few days we had him - but all of the sudden he has turned into a little monster. How do I deal with this?

My 6 year-old Beagle had to travel by airplane, I bought her a very nice kennel to make sure she was comfortable, we followed all the vet's instructions to make sure she was OK. She did well the first time, it was a 10-hr flight. Then on our way back, she arrived in very bad condition, her eyes were bloated, she couldn't stop vomiting and eliminating her waste (full of blood) and was very nervous. I couldn't believe my eyes when I took her out of the kennel at the airport. The veterinarian examined her and told me that for her symptoms it seems that the cabin where she traveled wasn't well pressurized and she was lucky to make it alive. Thank God she is fine again. I have to travel again, with her, I have the return ticket with the same airline, and I am afraid to put her in a high risk situation. I want to take legal action towards the airline and I don't want to travel anymore with this airline (supposedly one of the best that exist now). How can I do? I need HELP from a Lawyer!

Ok so my dog Kemo is a beautiful Malamute/ Akita cross. There are many strange things that he does but this one tops the cake! When he is eating he stares at his food. He will stand there for about 5 minutes just looking at it, then he slowly moves in for a bite. He brings the first couple mouthfuls to the carpet, drops them and then eats it off the carpet, then he will start to eat out of the bowl normaly.Does anyones else's dog do this?

Mother in Law is in a tight spot and needs to come live with use for a few months. Problem is her dog urinate on the walls and is very dominate with other dogs.
Is it too much to ask for her to find somewhere else to put the dogs. Or an I obligated to take them as well?

Do you believe someone called another person a DYKE, because they said they went hunting???? I have hunted with my father before his death most of my life. I bagged many a bird and deer. Our whole family went hunting, fishing and camping. I've married had two natural children and two adopted. I've also have and ex husband and current boyfriend of six years. How rude and sexist can someone be to assume only men or women who are gay can participate in such sports. Also, yes there is a rivalry on here between the "know it alls, the know a little and the know nothings" but, we NEVER allow people to discriminate on race or sexual orientation. Shame on you !!!!!!

am happy to use anything safe, easily applied and wouldn't take too long to wear off, in case it is a disaster!
She is so obvious to the other cats that she has no chance to be a 'real' cat. She may look like a princess but she is a tiger!

Would you rather feed your pet a diet that consisted of foods that you would eat yourself (anthropomorphic diet), or would you rather feed your pet a diet that consisted of foods that your pet would eat if it were a wild animal (natural diet)?

A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been
dead for years.
He wondered where the road was leading them. After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight. When he was standing before it,he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk, to one side.
When he was close enough, he called out, "Excuse me, where are we?"
"This is Heaven, sir," the man answered.
"Wow! Would you happen to have some water?" the man asked.
"Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up."
The man gestured, and the gate began to open.
"May my friend," gesturing toward his dog, "come in, too?" the traveler asked.
"I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets."

The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and
continued the way he had been going with his dog. After another long walk, and at the top of another long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence. As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book.

"Excuse me!" he called to the man. "Do you have any water?"
"Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in."
"How about my friend here?" the traveler gestured to the dog.
"There's a bowl next to the pump."

They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it.

The traveler filled the water-bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog.
When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.

"What do you call this place?" the traveler asked.
"This is Heaven," he answered.
"Well, that's confusing," the traveler said. "The man down the road said that was Heaven, too."
"Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell."
"Doesn't it make you angry for them to use your name like that?"
"No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind."
