My cat in the picture has a Mast Cell Tumor. It's small, above his right eye. Does anyone have some info/advice on what to do? The vet want's to remove it, and I am in favor of thatt, but it is really expensive.

My vet and the people at the local pound are always saying that there are severall health benifits of spaying/neutering according to "studies" and yet whenever i ask where i can find a copy of this study they all can't tell me.

i had looked on the net off and on for the last couple years and there was a couple sites that said that there was also negative side effects as well but once again no specific studies.

please no spca crusaders posting their "facts" i would actually like to see this study itself if it actually truly does exist.

We give her toys, bones and the like and don't know what to do with her anymore. She has already chewed up the sprinkler system, the door jams, the fence, a couple of patio umbrellas and much more. My husband is ready to get rid of her at any moment. What suggestions can anyone give me to get her to stop the chewing?

Just wanting to clear it all up...I love Dobermanns but feel that they are less of a Dobe when they have their tails [I don't want to hear lectures about the "cruelties of tail docking" & "cosmetically altering our dogs" so save it please].

All I am asking is if any Dobe breeders, within Australia, could enlighten me on the current situation with tail docking! Is it possibly to get a pup without a tail these days?

I got a kitten for Christmas and he's about 5 or 6 months old. I took him to the vet today and got him fixed. When he comes home, is there anything in specific I can do to make things more comfortable for him?

Okay, I know puppies begin losing their teeth between 5 and 6 months, but is it abnormal for them to lose them early? I ask because my Lab is only 18 weeks old and for the last week her teeth have been bleeding when she chews on things. It started out as small spots but now she's bleeding pretty bad on everything she puts in her mouth. I know this is a sign of her getting ready to lose teeth - though for the life of me I can't see what tooth (teeth) are bleeding - but is this too young? How long usually are the teeth lose before they fall out? I'm not too worried about it because I know it's normal. Guess I'm just curious because my other puppy isn't showing any signs of loose teeth yet. They are both scheduled to be spayed on Feb. 7th but they have to at least lost one tooth to have it done according to the vet and I don't know if I chould reschedule Ravyn's since she's not losing teeth yet. Thanks! Serious answers only and no smarta** comments!

Will she stop all of the chasing and torturing long enough to get knocked up? Why is she so agressive toward him?

And what is a good way to tell my daughter that her dog is dead. Especially the way it happened. Should I lie?

My cat sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night and whales or cries so loud it wakes me and my husband out of a sound sleep. She has food & water, sometimes I will open the front door to let her out and she doesn't go. Does she just want attention, is she insane? What can I do about this?

Ok. So my fish doesnt have ich. Its a glass fish and he has these white things growing on his tail. We treated it with ich/ick medicind twice, and fungus medicine once. I also have this red platy who is turning orange. Or i have really bad eyes and he has dropsy. How can i tell? And can fish eat spinich? If so, how do i feed it to them? I also have about 36 or 35 fish, how should i feed them their obsessive amouts of food without it going everywhere? And would 5 aglae eaters be good enough for that amout of fish? Or is is too much?

Hi,

I have my 3 1 /2 year old BF Amazon in a normal size cage , I feel I
nd to give him a mor einteresting change. I have a bird one of those
round standard parrot stands with the 2 cups, he would usaly just stand
there not active I assume it has to do with the fear of leaveing the
stand or being out in the loose.
I found a very nice cage in a pet shop that is like a cover that would
go over the stand and can be locked so it wont turn over, it nice and
round it looks like an antiuqu :) I think he would have more active
space during the day if he will be on the stand but have the extra air
space to crawl on with toys, becuse this cage over stand is higher then
his cage.

What do you think? Is there somthing against round cages? that they
stoped making it?

Thanks in Advance

He's 10 years old, and an outside cat.. He's out all day, and comes inside to sleep.... (usually on a pillow on my bed) he's spoiled and he knows it.. But in the past 2 days, he's peed on my bed and my daughters bed... It's odd, what would make him act this way? We haven't gotten any new pets or anything like that. Do you think it might be his age? Help!! I also got some stuff to get the odor out of our beds called Nature's Miracle. any other suggestions on the odor eliminator...?? Thankss!!!

I know this question might sounds crazy but here is my story in a nutshell. The day before Christmas my family and I adopted a one year old bloodhound named Zoe from our local animal shelter. She is a very sweet and mild manner dog. She is a little shy and rarely barks. Recently though I noticed something a little odd.....sometimes, usually at night, when I'm sitting on our couch in our family room Zoe will randomly go into a fit of barking. She will get right in front of me and start barking and growling but although she is in front of me she looks past me like over my shoulder and she seems to be following something because her head will go side to side. I always look behind me into the rest of the room and never see anything. She not only barks but she starts growling and when I reached out to her last night I could feel her whole body trembling.

Ok.
Every night some uninvited guests invade my kitchen and start having a feast at my expense without my permission. They are coming from mice community.
Now the worse part of it is that I've got a big cat which believes every mouse has a right to live. Is it worth keeping it?

I will take him outside to go to the bathroom, and he'll go, but then he'll come inside the house and urinate in front of me.
