I have a puppy he will be a year old Febraury 5th. He is a great puppy, very playful. I wanted to know how people get their dogs to sleep with them..i want to be able to cuddle with him and stuff but he is more into his little doggie bag...i dont get it. can you help me.

Anything new that comes in to my house he will run and tag it. Sometimes even in front of me. If I have nothing new for him to mark he will go after my plastic trash cans in the kitchen. If I block that then he goes after my curtains, ottoman, etc... But mostly loves plastic! He is an inside and outside dog.

My cat is pregnate which came to me as a blessing but my step mom doesn't want the kittens. Shes planning on getting an abortion which i am 100% against. I was just wondering how old the kittens have to be in her stomach before the vet won't do it?

We had a Yellow lab that had 8 puppies. All boys and one girl! All the boys are gone (sold) and I have the little girl. We are keeping her. We placed her in their welping box (where they've lived for 7 weeks together) and she cried all night!!! I swear I woke up 4 times during the night and she was barking or crying. What can I do to help her? I tried taking her out and sleeping with her in the living room, but she barked at the barrier I had up to keep her contained in that room!
HELP!!! I can't stand to her the poor thing cry :(

I have 3 male cats, all of them are fixed. They are about a year apart. We got all of the cats as kittens so they have grown up together. My middle cat Gizmo is very aggressive with my oldest cat, Kennedy(oldest) was fixed when he was a kitten so he has very soft skin, Gizmo and Peanut (youngest) were fixed two days apart but later on in life so they have tough skin. Every once and awhile Peanut and Gizmo will get into it but they are the same size. Every single time Gizmo see Kennedy he goes after him, fur gets the flying, and it sounds like Gizmo is try to kill him. Right now we lock Peanut and Gizmo in a spare bedroom while Kennedy romes the house. We switch them up every 3-4 hours. Kennedy is alot smaller than the other two, We've tried beefing him up with Nutra cal but he hates it. Do I have to keep switching them up for the rest of their lives or does some one know what to do? I can't get rid of any of them they are my babies. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

I have some kittens I been taking care of for my mom for about 2 weeks. There is 6 of them and I have 2 cats of my own inside. Well they got sick and have been sick for a while, they have clogged noses, they have been sneezing alot. Well I noticed yesterday 2 of the kittens were having nose bleeds. It's pure red blood and sometimes quite a bit comes out. I don't understand why it's doing this. Could it just be from the sickness? It has me really worried. I wiped the one kittens nose off last night and he blowed his nose into the toilet paper and then blood came out! He also acts like it's really sore. What could this be? I also been giving them some penicillin antibiotics that my vet said to give them. I plan on calling the vet tomorrow since they weren't open today. Thank you!

ok for this project our teach brought in a bird and she said that you need to come up with the name of this bird ok well this is what she told us the bird was shot in northern us and it starts with a p but dont let the p trick you now this bird was brown on the top and white on the bottom but it has been threw molting and there was feathers on its feet?

does anyone have an idea what this bird could be??

My Aquarium came with 15watt light fixture and a 18" flourecent blulb... the hood is nly 20" long... how can I get 40watts of light into my aquarium? I'm at a loss... the 40watts blub is 48 inches long!

We've been feeding our little baby Iams, but ive done some research and now I am horrified. I just cant believe some of the things in Iams and I cant believe how they treat animals just to find "good nutrition"

By doing some research I found Natural Balance, I was thinking about switching to this, it seemed great.

Im looking for something on the organic side, something thats actually good for my baby. I love her more than anything and I only want the best for her. I also want a brand that doesnt do cruel things to animals.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a little fiddler crab and he looks sick! I got him at petsmart and he looked healthy but when I put him in his new cage he seemed sick looking. its probably because they need water and when I was preparing his new home he snapped a hole in the plastic bag he was in and ran around in my room for a few minutes till my dad helped me find it. he is in a 2 and a half gallon cage with gravel, plastic plants, and shells. I also alow air and land for him too since they sometimes go to land for a bit. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Over the past few days, one of my betta fish has seemed kind of lethargic and not eating or swimming around much (this one is the more "energetic" of the two). Yesterday I noticed it sitting at the bottom of the tank, and didn't come up when I put food in. Today, it is in the same positioning, and is turning a brownish color. It had been bright pink before. Should I go ahead and flush it? or is there a way to make it healthy again?

I have a doberman and he has very high energy, but the only thing that keeps him full, and satisfied is purina. but i dont know, is it the right thing to buy? If not why? and a good reason too please!


Also i have tried all the other brands, and thats is all he likes to eat, and if not he will get skinny becuase he really dosent like the food. and i do get doggie food recipes from online vets, and its really good wholesome food, so its not like he dosent ever get really good food. And its all home cooked, and healthy. I make it about 2, to 3 times a week. But still, i want him to have a good staple food. please help.

My yorkie keeps going under a bush in the garden where we think there is a hedgehog..... now she has got fleas!

She doesnt go near any other dogs, so we think she caught them from the hedgehog....... is it possible?
