Sort of sounds like scissor beak.
"Some birds' beaks may never need trimming, but others have overgrown tips or cracks that need smoothing. The beak has a blood and nerve supply and it is a good idea to let your avian bet decide how much, if any, should be removed. Most vets have a special tiny sanding tool to use. This is not recommended at home. Birds with "scissor beak," a mal-alignment of the upper and lower beak structures, can be helped by routine trims and shaping."

Have it taken to an avian vet and they can try to do routine 'trimmings' (sort of like dulling it down to a healthy length) and try other procedures. I'm not very familiar with scissor beak, but a vet will know best.

Its not good but it is simple to fix. She needs some chew toys cuttle bones to help file down her beak. Take her to the vet he will do it quickly so it won't interfere with her eating. Birds eat all day long and it will affect her health in a matter of a day or two. She probably needs some vitamins and minerals as well.

Does your bird have a cuttle block or stone? They are absolutly nessisary as the bird will thim theri beak and nails on it. If you don't have one you can go to Superpet nd buy one for $1.00 or so! They ae cheap and as well as worth it.

Have her get a cuttle stone so the bird can groom it's beaks. They grow like our nails.

If she already has a cuttle stone, have her take it to the vet.

Good luck.
