Ok, here's a couple things. Dogs in general are pack animals so if the puppy is crying to be with you that's normal. If you are trying to crate train, don't use the crate as a time out or punishment area. I have a 16week old pug and when I got her she was 9 weeks old. Your puppy is very young and may have been taken from her mom too early. Small breed dogs need a lot more training and patients. My Boxer was potty trained by 10 weeks, but that's a large breed dog, my pug is almost 100% potty trained, but I keep on top of her at all times. They can't be left alone and given a chance to make a mistake. He has only started to grow up and has no idea where to go, be consistant on where he needs to go and show him constantly where it is ok to go. As for following you and not the others, he's learned that you are his alpha person and that is good. Watch Ceasar Millan's Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic channel or netflix it. He's very withit on what dogs need and how to be the pack leader. good luck and keep a close eye on your little friend he has a long way to grow. =)

Well since the puppy is only 6 weeks old, he is not use to being away from his mom so he will cry alot. At least until he gets use to living with you. As for the peeing, that is normal. You have to potty train him. Whenever you see his walking around sniffing the floor, he is probably going to pee so pick him up and take him outside. Everytime you do this, he will see thats where he is supposed to pee and will eventually start going to the door when he has to pee. And the sock is a toy so he will feel close to you when you aren't there. But all the activity is normal for a 6 week old puppy. Good Luck

He might have a UTI, consult with your vet. Remember, puppies have immature bladders and need to releive themselves about every 2 hrs. During potty training, don't let him out of your site; when he starts to smell around immediate take him outside and work on a reward system, the minute he pee's reward him with a treat.

You got him too young, and were you potty trained at six week or even six months? No, so give the pup some time. Take him outside every 1/2hour to an hour and stay out with him until he goes, then praise him and bring him back inside. Do you even have any training pads for the puppy to go on?
No offense, but you sound fairly clueless and entirely unprepared. judging by your grammar and spelling, I'm gonna say ask your parents for help, because I'm assuming that you're like, ten.

He is still too young to know how to be potty trained. Housebreaking a puppy can take a few months. I really suggest getting a book on how to do this. Many puppies don't have bladder control until they are 3-4 months old.

yes this normal. he will get used to his cage. my pug puppy hated his cage but now when we open it he goes in right away and falls asleep. for the peeing problem u need to put newpaper in the bathroom and ever 20 minutes or so take him to the newspaper and tell him to get busy in a serious voice. if u keep letting him go pee in ur room that will start to become his peeing spot

I think you got your puppy too young. Breeders should not let their puppies go until they are at least 8 weeks old. Try taking your puppy out a little more often. Repeat, and praise over and over.
