Sure, they one of the larger freshwater aquarium shimp, growing 2-4" long.
They have modified claws that look like fans, and they filter the water through these and eat the ltitle particles that get accumulated... this is why they are also called fan shrimp sometimes. This also means they won't hurt any fish.

They do find in most water conditions, from hard to soft, high to low pH, and the temp should be around 77F.
