A few months ago my cat, Josie was diagnosed w/ asthma. She had been coughing all the time. Yesterday, my other cat, Patches was also diagnosed Asthma. They aren't related. I asked how many other cats the vet had diagnosed w/ Asthma and he said ''none.''

I've only had him since Friday night and this only started yesterday. He's only 9 weeks old, hasn't been outside and hasn't had his injections yet but I'm sure it isn't kennel cough.
Any ideas what this may be?
Thanks.

Ok ive just bought a new yearling. His registered name is Mama's Boy (he was born on mother's day) and i need to nickname him (or i want too)
He's 13 hands so far and going to grow to about 15 hands. He's a jet black with two socks on his back legs and a large star on his forehead. He's HackneyxPaint and a real character.

I want a cute name for him that doesn't stray to much from the theme of his registered name.

So please give me a hand ad tell me what you guys think i should name him or if i should just keep calling him Mama's Boy.

The breeches are Georg Schumacher, and the contents list: 79% nylon, 18% Rayon, 3% Lycra. I'm not sure if it is real leather or fake leather, because the contents don't say. They are about five years old, and are the ribbed style. I'm mostly wondering if the seat is real leather or fake, and if anyone has tried dyeing their breeches, and the outcome.

Sometimes my minature schnauzer (1 year old) gets out and runs away! Scares me to death cuz I live close to a busy road where she could easily get hit...I take her for lots of walks but she still seems to want to bolt when she gets free...

I dropped a peice of apple on the floor and my Shi-Tzh came over and ate it. I was shocked because he's a very picky eater.

My cat is not 2 and a half years old, about 1 year ago he got neutered. He is a stay indoorss cat, so obviously doesnt get as much exercise as a normal outdoor cat. Over the last 6 months i have noticed (more when he is walking around) hes has this lump of fat or skin hanging from just below his ribs maybe slightly lower, when he is walking it hangs further than his body. I took him to the vet which said it was just fat, but i have had several cats and never noticd this, do i need to have an xray done or what? nebody have ne ideas?

Unexplained deaths of cattle, small animal, and goats.
My grandfather said dogs usually did this and to kill a dog if you see one sucking its water instead of lapping it up. He and other rancher told me they had been known to attack people and had to be killed. Coyote and foxes also sucked blood from their kills. Has anyone else heard of this phenomenon.

On friday we lost our beloved Garfield ( he was 17yrs old), I think now my Goo cat ( who is 14 or 15yrs old)is sick or acting out in grief ( she looks for garfield). I don't know if she is urinating somewhere else that I can't find, but I am only having to clean the liter box out once a day. Shouldn't she be urinating more often?
I was always so use to garf going constantly that I never really noticed how often Goo was using it. She does not act sick, is eating and wanting alot of extra love.

I am constantly brushing him but its his under belly that gets really matted because it gets so long. I just figured it would be best to give him a little trim with a good set of clippers. This way its not bothering him.

I just recently got a 30 gallon and since my 10 gallon is too crowded, I moving my fish into the thirty gallon. I had 6 platies and 6 cories if anyone wants to know, there are only a few other fish with them, so its not overcrowded. Anyway, now that my 10 gallons free, I decided to get a female betta instead of a few, small tropical fish. If I can I want to get two, but I dont know if they fight or not. I know you cant keep two male bettas together, but haven't heard/read anything on females. They would have a heater and filter, plus aeration since thats what my previous fish had. My sister has a male betta, but I have never had a female betta, is there anything I should know about them? Please Help!!!!!
Thank You!!!!!! :) Also, what are some fish that would be good w/ female bettas, I dont want anymore cories!!!! Not that I dont like them, I would feel bad for them because the otheres were in a 30 gallon!!!!!

i have a dog myself and I take good care of it. She is a yorkie and I have taked cared of her for about 3 years. My friend is giving a english spaniel springer to me and my parents of course said NO.
Then I asked why... They said because it is big and that caring two dogs are complicated. Then my brother asked:what if someone said they will give us a maltese? Then she said sure. I was confused and dissapointed because then we would have two dogs and my mom just said 2 dogs are hard to care for. How do I make my mom get the dog?

To be indoor only?. Long story short my kitty is extremely self-conscious about going to the bathroom inside the house, she will hold it until I let her go out and that worries me, the litter box has to be outside the door or she won't go. Because of this she became indoor/outdoor but she prefers to be indoor most of the time.

I have to move (you can read the reason in my questions) I want to get an apartment in a managed place where I don't have to constantly be harrased by the landlord but that will mean no yard I am doing my best to find a place with a balcony but it might not happen. How can I convince my cat that going inside the house is good and how can I make the apartment interesting for her so she won't get bored?.

I have a beagle and we have to keep it outside because of 2 little babies in our house and the dog is just to wild for them. Should we get a room were she can stay without bothering the babies?Or let her stay outside.By the way, weve got a lot of snow here in Denver this winter.

I am asking if dog behaviorists know whether dog mothers teach her puppies things like many other animal moms. For example, do they learn from the Mom how to socialize with other dogs and not to soil the den? If the mother is well-trained, does the puppy learn that training and become easier to train later? How long should puppies stay with the mother?
