My house is that temp night, maybe a bit cooler. This is what I do to be sure my Amazon gets through the winters. Make sure he is as healthy as possible by diet & with vitamins. Put him in an area where there are no drafts from doors & windows and cover the entire cage. My cover almost reaches the floor!

I even have 5 parrots. My veterinarian's suggestion is to hold them interior if the temps get under 50F. The birds will stay to tell the tale lots decrease temps. Escaped parrots have survived weeks in sub-freezing climate. besides the undeniable fact that it definitely stresses the fowl and makes them greater vulnerable, to not point out the reality that the poor issues are probably purely depressing. If i locked YOU outdoors this night, you may just about definitely stay to tell the tale besides the undeniable fact that it may be cruel inspite of the reality that. I carry on with my vet's suggestion. If it fairly is forecast to drop to 50F or under, I carry my fowl from the reveal screen porch into the living room.

MAke sure he has a towel over his cage at night, and he'll be fine. Also make sure he isn't by a draft

I agree, make sure there isn't a draft, and it is covered up and it should be fine.
