Where can I get a free cat or kitten, ive already tried craigslist and I dont want to get one from a shelter as they are too hard to get. And I am from Bronx, new york.

Would you rather have a dog that was the product of a Pug and a Beagle, or would you rather have a dog that was the product of two Puggles. I was just wondering if their were any advantages or disadvantages to either of the methods. I wouldnt really wanna pay for it, since its just an expensive Mutt not AKC recognized, but still... they're cute and i wanna know.

Some pipes froze and the heat was knocked out a few days ago and my fish stopped swimming around. I took him to the only room in house that had a heater in the wall in the hopes he would survive. He only started swimming around today. When he's not moving he hangs in the bowl kind of like this: "/" he doesn't seam to busing his tail. Will I lose him? IS there anything I can do to help him?

I am trying to find info on companies who sell large scale aquarium displays for retail stores. I've found one called Casco, but thats pretty much it. I think this is one of those cases where I just dont know how to look for what I want. If it helps, anytime you've ever been in a PetSmart or PetCo and looked at their fish tanks, someone built that system for them. I need to find those companies. Anything will help, this search doesnt look like it will end well! Thanks!

I've had him about two months...I have him in a gallon bowl... When I first got him he swam around and when I fed him he would swim to the food calmly and eat. NOW... He sits at the top edges of the bowl..rarely swimming..and when i put food in the bowl he does a race around the bowl ...knocks the food to the bottom....I have no idea if he is eating... Anybody have ideas of what might be wrong with him and how to aid him?? I have already tried 7 days of Betta Fix Remedy.

Everytime there is a question about breeding dogs everybody says that they should get their dog spayed/neutered. I completley agree. I don't like breeding more unwanted dogs in this world. They are already overpopulated.
So, I just want to see why people who do breed dogs do it. Is it just for the money? Just to be with puppies? Or just to do it? I'll tell you, I'm not a breeder. I'm a big fan at rescuing dogs/cats from shelters.

I am still trying to make sense as to why these killer buyers are taking our horses down to Mexico in double decker cattle trailers for them to inhumanely slaughter them even though no country, (due to the cruelty) except for some restaurants in the US which buys the meat from Mexico and then serves it to unsuspecting customers as beef. Why doesn't anyone do anything about this?

Can anyone give me a video of a dog in labor, so we have a better idea of what to do. e already know were supposed to give it a warm spot, and help clean the babies from the blood and blue liqud that comes out, but we want to be exta prepared so what else should we know, and if you could show me a video.

at first he slep during the day and was up in the night like they are supposed to but now for some reason he sleeps most of they day. he wakes up for a few minutes throughout the day but then he sleeps a lot in the night too. I think something might be wrong with him. I haven't done anything different and i change his food and water daily and i clean his cage weekly. i dont know whats wrong with him.someone help please!!!!!

I have a 11 week old female pit bull puppy. What should she weigh?
We have her on a strict feeding schedule, but sometimes she doesn't want to eat at these times. This is our first dog, and I want to do the best I can. Any Pitbull advice out there... Send it my way

55 gallon aquarium and a friend gave me a handful of guppies. I didnt have any predatory fish so to speak and in 3 months Ive got hundreds of guppies! I dont want to flush them, What can I get for fish that will help me balance my tank out again? The few fish I had are all gone now and all I have is a plycostomus and all these gups!

I have a bearded dragon, about 4-5 months old. Recently (about 3 days now) she has had her eyes shut an awful lot, and when they are open the secondary lids won't open all the way. Also, she only opens one eye at a time. She doesn't eat too much when presented with food, and only does so with lots of coaxing. She's become very lethargic, and does not resist or squirm or make even the slightest movement when I pick her up. If I pet her and stroke her head, she will barely open her eyes for but a few seconds, and lift up her head until I stop, then lays back down in my hand.
I've tried giving her plenty of water by misting and even a few warm baths in the tub when I noticed she became ill. She seems fine for about 30 minutes after that, but shortly returns to her previous condition.
Another thing, she never eats her vegetables, no matter what I offer.

So is there anything I can do at home or should I take her to a vet?
