There are certain spots in our house and in my mom's cabin where he is afraid to walk across. He will whine and cry and try over and over to work up the nerve to walk across. Eventually he will gun it making a huge fool of himself or we'll have to drag him across. The next time he passes the same way he's fine. Please don't tell me we have ghosts in our house. Could it be his shadow or the shine on the floor he is scared of? What can I do?

I just bought a new filter and it has the new "bio-fiber" stuff on it. When I read the package for it, it said that it removes dissolved waste and nitrite. But don't fish need nitrite to grow? I want my fish to grow. I have 4 aquariums each with only common goldfish, 2 10-gallons, 2 20-gallons. 10 gallons with 2 and 20 with 3 fish. I want my fish to grow, but I also want an efficient filter. What can I do?

I know Ive asked this but Im wondering if anyone has experienced this or even heard of it..Is it normal for the vet to detect poop that he couldnt tell if it looked like puppies?? He said it looked like poop because the images seemed linked together, and that he couldn't tell. It was only 20days since mating. I am going back to get another in 2 weeks or so but has anyone encountered this problem? And is the poop even in the same place as the puppies? Ive heard that early in the pregnancy the puppies can be higher in the rib cage.

i got a hot little mare almost a year ago. i got her calmed down and workin the barrels really good. we did good in local runs so i took her to the 2006 SC 4-H State show and got the high point for speed events. she did good at local shows after that, too. i took her to a nbha show and we made a b line for the gate after the first barrel and tried to duck the second. well, that sucked. but wait!!! it gets worse!!! after she did the same around the fist, the next time she totally bulldozed the second! i took her home and she worked fine so we went to another show. the first time she made a p-u-r-d-y first barrel, but ducked the second. the next time she tried to duck the first and the second. i haven't had the nerve to deal out more entry fees and my trainer thinks shes just tired of it so i've stuck to the trails cause she tends to get realy hot when she gets bored. what do you think the problem? so u think she's done for good or is my trainer is right?

My cat is so fat that he cannot clean himself properly. He has long white fur, so you can imagine what happens when he uses the litter box. I shaved him the other day and cleaned his butt properly, but now he is tracking poop all over the place because it has no fur to cling to. Now he has taken to sleeping in the litter box? WHY? Anybody have any ideas of how I can get him to stop doing this and how to keep his butt cleaner? How to keep the poop from going all over the house?

We have a Molly that is having babies and releasing them slowly, we have creek rock in the bottom so they can hide easily, but I got a net and fished the ones I could find out and seperated them so they wouldn't get eaten by any of the other fish..

my kids will be jumping in the pool and he comes running from the otherside of the deck and barks at the when they jump in. Also if we leave any toys in the pool (diving sticks, etc.) he will paw at the water until they are at the edge, and than take them out with his mouth. If we continue to throw the toys in, he paws them out and puts them further and further away from the deck edge? Any ideas?
