They should still be with their mom but if not then bottle feed it, if you have a pet store near by go their and tell them that you have a week old kitten and they will tell you what kind of formula to feed it. I have three kittens that I'm trying to nurse now, their mom took off and ran away, I go to the local feed store and get the formula in the can and they should also have bottles. A couple of things I've tried were, reconstituted powdered milk or evoporated milk but try going to the pet store to find the formula first!! A 1-week-old kitten needs 13mL of milk per 100g of body weight, a 2-week-old needs 17mL milk per 100g body weight, a 3-week-old needs 20mL milk per 100g body weight, a 4-week-old needs 22mL milk per 100g body weight. Good Luck!!!

you shouldn't feed your one week old kittens anything the mother will do this you should start weaning them on milk at about 5 weeks old then gradually introduce kitten food........Is the mother cat with then or do you just have the kittens? If you just have the kittens you can buy a formula from the vets or some pet stores and this needs to be fed to them every 2 hours around the clock

Go to Petsmart, or other pet supply store in your area and purchase something called KMH, it comes in a formula container with a yellow tabby kitten on the front. Buy a bottle, and feed the kitten every 4 hours until it is 4-6 weeks old. At that point you will want to use Iams kitten chow with formula on top to soften it until they are close to 8 weeks then just plain Iams dry. Also you will need to bathroom the kitten. To do this either stick their bottom under running warm water and rub back and forth rapidly to get them to urinate and deficate. You can also use a warm washcloth instead of running water. Doing this over a litter box will help in the litter training process as well.

First of all do not give regular milk. It will cause diarrhea, dehydration and could lead to death in a new born kitten.

WalMart, large grocery stores and pet stores carry something called "mothers replacer milk". It comes in a little carton like juice and its very inexpensive It is a substitute for mothers milk and this is the only thing they should have for the time being. Follow the directions on the carton and you will need to pick up an eye dropper to feed with. After a couple of weeks you can introduce her to a little bit of baby pablum with the mothers milk substitute.
Keep them warm and protected in a shoe box with a towel or material in it. You will need to learn how to make them go to the bathroom because they are too young to do it themselves. You need to take a warm cloth and wipe their genitals gently until they release. It isn't as bad as it sounds. They should be seen by a vet a.s.a.p. so the vet will be able to give you some good advice. Good luck

You cannot give food to a 1 week old kitten - they need their mothers milk, their mothers love and nurturing. They don't get weaned (introduced to solids) until about 4-5 weeks old and still need their mothers milk for longer.

If she/he was unfortunately orphaned then you should seek a surrogate mother for her/him (nursing queen) or if that option was not available then you would have to find an appropriate suitable milk substitute that you could give in a special bottle for orphaned kittens that you can buy in laege pet stores. But you would also need to know how to clean your kitten as a mother cat would do after a feed. You should look up pet/cat rescue phone numbers in your yellow pages or local directory and ask for advice/help as orphaned care is best left to the professionals.

1 week old kittens should still be nursing. If mom is not available anymore, you need to bottle-feed the kittens with formula specifically made for them - you can buy those at Petco or Petsmart. Technically, they will not eat solid food until their teeth break out from the gums.

Your kittens are not quite old enough for solid food, but you can start weaning them with kitten chow. Take the kitten chow and moisten it with worm milk or water. Take a little of it and slick it on their tongue so they lick it up. But only a little bit. If they don't take it then go to the vet and get a special formula if they have no mother. Teconaly they shouldn't be weaned yet. Waite another week if you can. Take good care of those kittens.

They should be feeding from their mother, but if they cant, you need to get a kitten "formula" (sold at pet stores) and a bottle. You then feed the kittens yourself from the bottle. I have seen people holding the kittens so they are in their hand, tummy up...I guess do it however you are comfortable. Just make sure the kittens do not choke!

A kitten at that age needs special nutrients not found in kitten food...it is assumed they are still with the mother...the pet store sells a formula for small animals abandoned by their mother..that will come close to replacing the mother
