i have a dog myself and I take good care of it. She is a yorkie and I have taked cared of her for about 3 years. My friend is giving a english spaniel springer to me and my parents of course said NO.
Then I asked why... They said because it is big and that caring two dogs are complicated. Then my brother asked:what if someone said they will give us a maltese? Then she said sure. I was confused and dissapointed because then we would have two dogs and my mom just said 2 dogs are hard to care for. How do I make my mom get the dog?

Springer Spaniels are very hard to take care of not unless the owner is dedicated to alot of time. They need alot of exercise daily, are kinda larger dogs, and can shed. All these are things that your Mom probably knows, which led to her decision.

Why don't you ask your Mom if you and your brother can choose a type of dog together that will make you both happy? This way your Mom understands that you feel her decision was unfair, and it shows that you have thought about this issue which shows responsibility.

I have two drastically different dogs, a mini Shih-Tzu and a Husky x Eurasier the problem is an energy one. You have to have the commitment to care for the higher energy dog. If you drain his energy, no problems... If the first dog is older and lower energy he might not accept a high energy thing annoying him all the time.

My big dog just lays on the floor to play with my mini and lets the little one jump all over him and try to rip his ears off. However my friends rottie of the same age (about 14 months) as my mix just terrorizes the mini indoors, his energy doesn't get drained and he doesn't under the concept of gentle. Outdoors those two are perfect together.

It is not impossible but just a bit more complicated then getting two dogs of the same energy and temperment. The size is not as big a concern.

However, yorkies are high energy hunting dogs, keeping up with a spaniel should not be to hard... (Don't for a second tell you its a lap dog, its a rat hunter). For those breeds it would come down to a question of are those two individuals compatible.

A yorkie would likely be the one terrorizing a maltese.

Explain this to your mother. If she understands that, then all you have to do is show you are willing to make that spaniel tired every day.

Good Luck.

i'm no longer positive about the guidelines or if there are any, yet a dogs should be in warmth to be pregnant. How previous became the different dogs and became she even in warmth? i do not imagine you should ought to pay for the dogs to get spayed. Vets do not generally opt for to spay dogs in warmth besides. So it truly is not likely that if the dogs became in warmth that it would want to be getting spayed the subsequent day. previously you do pay for the spay get some extra information.

There really is no way to convince her to give you the dog! You can BEG all you want but, she may never listen to you! GIVE it some time and maybe someday you can have that dog! Right now, your other dog needs alot of care! :D
