Has anybody ever heard of a Dog eating a Diamond Ring?

I left mine on the table and he started to play with it in his mouth and I hear him choke and then I looked to see if he was alright and my ring was gone from the table. I took him to the vet and Xrays were taken and sure enough that ring is in stomach. He was given some medicine and we wait till he passes it and he is not leaving my house for anything until I get that ring back.

OK, I have a 50 litres (13.2 US galons) aquarium which I want to make a marine aquarium. Its quite small so I will not keep more than 4 fish but I have no clue about marine aquariums when it comes to filtration, maintanence and I would like to add corals and anenemies too. Is it really difficult to make it work? I am quite experienced with freshwater tropical aquariums so I am up for it.
Any personal experiences and any helpful websites would be much appreciated.
Thank you and have a happy new year!

I recently adopted a yellow lab. The previous owners tried to make him into a hunting dog but he would not retrieve. Since i have brought him home he has been very hyper. I live in the country and the only thing I have not been able to break him of is chasing vehicles up the road. To him its a game. He stays in the ditch and runs beside them. I am affraid he still might get hurt but don't want to tie him up. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

She has gotten when children come to house with parents she just does not like them at all...she will not directly go on the attack but growls and tries to threaten them with her growls. Grownups she thinks they all come to see her and licks them to death!!
We have had her since 7 weeks, and is very protective of me..is kept in the house but also has a fenced backyard...No behavior school near us we live in a rural area.

i have this kitten whos about 9 months old now, who will just not potty train, iv had cats all my life so i know how to potty train them but this new one is taking longer then normal. iv tried every trick i know but its just not working!!.. just when i think she's doing good she pees on my bed or my stuff...i've also noticed that she only pees on something myself or fiance have worn recently..does that mean she needs more attention?? iv had her from about 2 weeks after she was born so im all she knows aother then my fiance... i work from home currently so she spends all her time running around my house or next to me..she follows me everywhere..i'v tried repelents to punishment (being put on the patio or a strong telling of NO). She does still use the litter box and thats whats so confusing..at times i see her run out of the house onto the patio to use it and other times she'll run in my closet or go on my bed (yuck by the way)..

I have heard that they don't, and that they live only on hairy animals, like our pets. Is that true???

hi, my furniture is getting ripped to shreds and people here said i shouldn't declaw my cats myself even though i can't afford to go to the vet. so to stop them scratching everything up, a few minutes ago i wrapped their paws up in duct tape instead. thing is, now mittens and mr. snickers won't stop licking the tape. lick, lick, lick, the sound is driving me bonkers!!!! also, when i shoo them with the broom to make them stop licking, they run funny. what should i do?

Now I know that they are not naturally chummy, but is it possible for the kitten to learn NOT to try to eat my rabbit?
For now, the rabbit's locked up in his cage, but I'd like to let him out as I've always done. I just know the kitten would LOVE to "play" with him...
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I watched Black Beauty the second part last night, I cannot watch the first as that video has broken, but Ginger was a grey, I remember Merrylegs being a grey pony?

What colour are they, Shouldn't Merrylegs be grey and Ginger be chestnut (or Liver Chestnut?)

Thanks

One of my cats is more like a dog. He comes when you call him. He runs to the door when you get home. He loves to play in water (including the shower). He doesn't mind being rolled around and wrestled with like a dog. He's as big as a dog.

Does your cat act like a dog too?

As soon as he was old enough to leave his mom I adopted him and raised him till now and he's just never done this before although he will do the other instinctive things, "covering" food, litter, stretching his claws so I'm curious as to why this behavior would start suddenly. Thank You.

Our dog has bitten our 18 month old daughter and we don't feel we can keep him any longer. We don't want to destroy him if we can help it. He's a large breed, German Shepherd/Great Dane mix, 11 years old. He's bitten one other person in his life, after being provoked. We'd like to find a shelter for him if possible. We're in the Los Angeles area. Does anyone know of a place?
